I recently visited Hostcabi and found out a bit more about the inner workings of my favorite site. This is what they had to say:
Host: SoftLayer
Loc: Dallas US
Google Pagerank: 3 (needs more work given that this site is a bit old)
Rank: top 19379 site in the world
Daily Income: 4,000 pesos is just wow!
Daily Visitors: 33,329
Site Worth: $70,991 USD ~ 3million pesos I think this is undervalued.
Do you know what is the second best shampoo in the world? Neither do I lol. I love Istorya.net. I really do. I always visit this site after logging into facebook. I feel at home when I see posts from fellow Bisaya. But I only frequent the buy and sell section. Why? It's the only section that I find mostly engaging. I may find one or two great articles, but that's it. They are hard to come by. I have envisioned Istorya.net to be a beacon for the Bisaya culture in this era of the internet. To showcase what it's like to be in the southern part of the Philippines. It may sound nationalistic, but we must do this in order for us to move forward. We must open ourselves to the world. This site needs content creators who can deliver original, unique content about Bisaya life and culture. In this age of facebook and twitter, Istorya.net must reinvent itself, strive to adapt, or become a dinosaur hung in a museum. Its life story now told only by museum curators.
