    @Yanong banikanhon

    Gud evening bro.
True faith is like casting everything in Jesus Christ no matter what happen sa imong life. When you have such kind of heart, diha sad mo start pag workout ang ginoo sa imong kinabuhi unhindered.

Though not totally mao jud but nice example is when you go trekking and crossing sa pangpang on a wooden bridge or hanging bridge nga pisi lang nagunit. You have to make sure the rope is strong enough to keep you on the other side. If wala kay salig and doubtful of course ul will find ways or other alternative like magprovide ug laing means (another rope or harness) to hold you in case maputol ang bridge. Now, youre doing faith + works. And the one who crosses that have the genuine Faith don’t have anything to worry about but confidently cross it.

The case of Dewitt is like nicross the unta sya but retreated halfway. We don’t really know whats in His heart or experience in doing so. In my case sa akong pag backslide, it was almost the same kay nadala sa kalibutan but good thing is God made ways to lead me back to the main stream. If I insist the conviction, tingali dugay nakong gisulod ug lungon

Jesus promised to those who puts their trust in Him that no one can pluck or destroy you once you are in His hands. To oppose is to invite your destruction.

In the example above, your true Faith is the one drives you to cross confidently, the act of crossing is the result of that faith.

Another example is by getting Employed or become a Student.
The moment nagka agree ug gidawat naka sa School matawag naka nga estudyante. The result is mosugod nakag sulod sa klase tungod kay estudyante naka.

Hope you can properly distinguish a Faith that works and Faith + doing works for your salvation. Ang works nga gimean nako diha bro is by trying to make alternative ways. We cannot add anything to the finished work of Christ on the cross bro. But only to reflect that light (good works) as being now a child of God.

Dili man ako mojudge ni Dewitt bro ang Ginoo man.

You know bro, salvation can only be obtained by God's grace through our living Faith (not dead), not by our labor coz the bible says that the keeping of the law, no man will be justified. Now kung mo insist jud ta nga Faith + works ang means of salvation, maka perfect kaha ka sa tanang sugo sa Ginoo? requirement man jud kaha ang works? then, tanang commandment sa ginoo gi require man jud na para atong buhaton or ato lang pilion asay mauyonan, the rest kung lisud palabyon lang.

Faith Alone bro imong masabtan once you can experience the Holy Spirit in your life nga nag workout nimo. For now, dili pata kasabot what Ephesians 2:8-9 is all about.

Another example na sab kana sa faith ug good works nga nagkauban.

The thief on the cross is the very good example of justified by Faith alone. Wla naman sya gipakanaog sa ginoo for him to do good works. God only knows his intentions and the sincerity of His heart. Ang pagconfess/pagsalig nya tinuoray sa ginoo is the key to his salvation. Of course kung gihatagan pa syag time to do good works, surely naa ang working sa Holy Spirit that will take place after.

Kun dunay moingon nga 'Right now, I'm alone but my wife is with me', dili ba wala'y sense ang iyang gisulti?

    @shockie

    What if:

When I was in high school, I cheated all my exams.
I cheated on my girlfriend. I beat people up along with my gang.

In college, I joined a fraternity/gang, beating people up if i dont like them.
Taking advantage of freshmen who are joining the frat/gang.
I steal stuff, like money, phones, valuables.
    I do drugs.

Because my father is a powerful policitian, I took his place.
I became a very bad and corrupt politician.
    I take 90% of the people's money.
I have goons to annihilate the opposition.
I have goons to kill protesters.
I am not fair with the law.
I exempt my friends and family of the law.

To sum it up, I've been an a**hole all my life.

One day, people got tired and planned to invade my residence.
They did, and killed all my family.
I am in the room, they beat me up.
They point a gun in my head while saying "any last words? I'll give you 1 minute to talk"

In the last minute of my life, I didn't talk, but prayed instead.
I prayed to god, to thank god for everything in my life.
I ask forgiveness with all my heart, and admitted that I was very wrong.
I did it with the sincerest of sincere.

    Question:

    Am I saved?
