Default Pls Help...My Win 7 64bit says only 3.73GB is usable out of 8GB

My Win 7 64bit says only 3.73GB is usable out of 8GB. Can anyone help me correct this? Or is this normal? Any setting in the BIOS to adjust so that the entire 8GB is recognized?

The BIOS recognizes 8GB RAM....I followed the instructions in the manual regarding Dual Channel Memory Configuration by installing the two 4GB RAM on the slots with similar color to activate dual channel config...I also tried CPU Z- CPUID and it likewise recognize the 8GB RAM....

BTW...my motherboard is ASrock A75 Pro4-M, AMD A8 3870, with 8Gig RAM and yung GPU ko is AMD Radeon HD 6670

You can also scan to check for viruses/malware:

Run an updated version of MalwareBytes (full scan). Update and run a full scan of your anti-virus too.

You can also back-up MBAM's results with SuperAntiSpyware. Just use the free version.

If you are going to install any of these 2, restart before launching (and updating).

    Let's see what you get.

My friend, how about upgrade the BIOS..

    ----------------------Update----------------------------------

Dont use Dual Channel Memory Configuration,, install the memory on different color..

Im a owner of Asrock boards before

    NOTE:

If you use the Dual Channel Memory Configuration,
the memory should be in same model and serial (not sure about the serial)
and should be place on the same color..

this means SAME MODEL, SAME CAPACITY, and SAME SERIAL (not sure about the serial)

that's the key to successfully use the Dual Channel Memory Configuration...

Question: Did you use DDR 2 or DDR 3?

Hope this will help you my friend...
