Help me decide whether to get an SSD and if so, which brand...

Someone told me that 240/256GB SSDs are usually faster than the 120/128GB SSDs of the same series, especially with writes. But, if I don't need the capacity (size) [which I actually think I don't having 1 TB HDD and 1 TB external drive] then the performance advantage of 240/256 SSDs won't be noticeable in daily use as against the 120/128SSD counterparts....

Thus, should I stick to my 120GB SSD planned purchase TIA

if the dough to burn is not an issue then, go for it... if not, stick to your plan... in real world apps, you will not notice the speed difference... makit-an ra man na sya sa during benchmark...

but kung ako TS, ilahos nalang nakog 240/256GB para one time big time not only that it's faster, obviously, you'll also have more space... para way tihik2x ba, hehehe! installan lang na nimo og 3 to 4 modern games labi na shooter, aw hurot na imo 120GB...

just came from Nutech Main sa Sanciangko
wla man sa ilang inventory ang kanang imong ingon 120GB 3900pesos nga Crucial SSD.
4K kapin man gyud.
basin mas barato ang Nutech SM kay sa Nutech Main?

naay sila Crucial SSD nga murag wala pa sa printed pricelist katong tag 5200pesos.
ambot pila to ga GB kay lapas na 4K discouraged nako. hehe
anyway settled for normal 2.5 HDD instead.

edit - same price cash or card basta one time payment ra thru card.

all I know is 500GB. hehe

ang akong primary reason ta to switch to SSD was not much for speed but for durability.
kay IMHO bati ang hdd pagka-plastar sa HP Pavilion dm1.
murag dikit na kaayo sa nipis nga back cover then nipis kaayo ang kanang murag foam cushion.
mas baga pa ug foam and plastic cover akong 8 inches nga Neo netbook.
para nako murag dili gyud magdugay ang hdd aning HP pavilion dm1.

I would have gone for SSD maski 4K+ kaso
visited 2 doctors sad gnina (1K consultation) + 7K+ for CT stonogram (w/c turn-out negative syang ang 7K hehe).
