...to an Open House / Fellowship Shoot on Febuary 22, Saturday, 9AM to 5pm.

First of all, gikan ra ni sa firearm enthusiast thread nga topic, pero we though we'd post it here sa general discussions para masmakita sa mga katawhan.


Unsa man ni na event?


Its for licensed gun owners, and interested, non-firearms owning individuals to come over and experience, and perhaps handle a few firearms ranging from pistols to semi automatic, to automatic rifles, shotguns and the like.


Since its an "open house" event, its open to the public and is geared especially towards newbies who have yet to fire their first gun, male or female. This event is to facilitate responsible gun ownership, and to educate people about some misconceptions about firearms, promoting the sport of shooting, and of course, have fun.


There will be a basic orientation for newbies early in the morning handled by veteran gun owners who happen to be members of istorya.net as well.


A fellowship shoot will be hosted in the afternoon. There will be different stages for different disciplines of shooting, and of different firearm categories. These are courses of fire designed for newbies to apply what they have learned in the morning if he/she choses to do so. If not, you can always watch your fellow batchmates in action.


Gate fee is at P300, and that includes lunch already(sulit). Interested individuals are required to bring:


1. Eyewear protection/safety glasses
2. Hearing protection
3. Wide, strong, non-elastic belt.
4. Decent, comfortable clothing, preferably long maong pants


Optional:


1. Bullets
You'd be amazed pila ka tao willing magpagamit sa ilang pusil basta naa lang mo inyong bala

Kamagong Gun club is located inside Camp Lapu-Lapu in Lahug. Just ask the guard and he should be able to tell you where.
