In the case of my kid, and his Don Bosco classmates, they used to come to our house to play Dota 2/Lol. I have 2 rigs, 1 of them uses my laptop and 1 of them brings his own laptop. So what does this tell us? That lanshop business is not dead. You just have to know your market. Invest in good specs and fast internet connection. You think 5mbps is more than enough? Well, let me tell you this, kuwangan gani ang 2mbps for a family of 4.
