This is in line to the group's advocacy to spread and educate the people about the stock market, mutual funds and other investment tools that can make money grow faster and relatively safer (legit way to make money grow).

Here are a few (but not limited) perks that members will enjoy:

[1] Regular stock market trading/investing lectures
[2] Access to lectures (to be conducted by credible guest speakers) and materials about stock market trading/investing and financial planning
[3] Be a part of a group that fosters savings, investments and financial education wherein you can speed up your learning curve.

Responsibility/Obligation is basically to be trained and teach/educate other people about stock market trading/investing, investments (general) and financial planning as a whole.

What we are looking for are committed, sincere, driven, motivated and individuals who are looking forward to learn and teach. If you think you have those kind of characteristics, let us know.

I would like to emphasize that this is not a networking scheme. We are not soliciting any amount from members. Once again, all we need is commitment, sincerity and the heart to learn and teach, not money. Joining the group is actually for free.

    Pwede pa mu join sir?

The P70 fee was during our Baseline days. We stopped it kay we end up paying more for the venue, lugi mi. Mao na ni karon ang meet up every Monday (no more fees to be paid since no more rental for the venue and projector). The P1,500 fee is for the stock market lecture. It is the group's fund raising since we're looking forward to have an office in the future and we will draw funding from providing lectures. Once we have an office, we could speed up learning and sharing (about stock market trading/investing). We, the members, aren't earning a single cent from this, we're doing this just because we love trading/investing and it is our advocacy to educate the people about the stock market. The P1,500 fee is also the cheapest (as far as I know) that you can find. Stock market trading/investing lectures would normally cost you P5,000 to P8,000 for a day's lecture. It's not really that expensive because the things that you would learn are very valuable.

To those who sent me PMs, thanks. I've been getting numerous PMs asking what the group is all about. To those who are wondering about our group, here's some details.

Our group is a non-profit oriented group and focuses towards spreading the word about financial literacy/education. Right now, we are focusing on stock market trading/investing as we, the ones who started this, are very active stock market traders and there are some investors as well.

So what are the group's activities? For now we have meet ups and we conduct lectures about stock market trading/investing. We're also looking forward to organize talks (either for free or very limited amount) to be conducted by very reputable persons in their respective fields. The one that we're working on right now is to bring Mr. Tony Herbosa by March (hopefully) to conduct a talk about wealth accumulation and preservation. We got a word that he will be tagging along two more speakers with him (his friends). Just in case you're wondering who Mr. Herbosa is, he's got at least 20 years experience in investment banking and corporate finance and had worked as a consultant in several firms such as the Ayala Corporation. For now, we can't provide details yet since we're still working on some things.

How to join the group? The group is open to all but we discourage people who are looking to recruit for network marketing or are just looking to find a market to sell something. Though the members are helping each other (especially each other's businesses), we strictly filter it and don't want the members to deviate from the very reason why we formed the group and that is for financial education.

To become an "official member" of the group, all you have to do is attend the group's lecture about stock market investing/trading for only P1,500. You can join all the meet ups and activities of the group if you wish. We would like to emphasize that the P1,500 is for the group's funding/fund raising. We're looking forward to have an office in the near future hence we really need funds. We also discourage individuals shelling out money for the group's expenses.

We have a lecture scheduled on Feb. 22, 2014, 10am to 3pm. For more details, please check this link: Events | Buhay Trader
Grab the opportunity to become an official member on Feb. 22!
I would also like to stress out that fee should be deposited in advance because the space is limited (to only max of 30 attendees) and so we could approximate the number of attendees.

What do official members get? For stock market traders/investors, we send daily, weekly, monthly and annual newsletters that contain stock picks. We also share first hand information we get from our partner brokerage, Unicapital. Official members also get access to the group's organized lectures (for free or discounted). And of course, many, many more benefits to come.. All of that for only P1,500.

Who should join? If you wish to improve your financial IQ, if you wish to learn about stock market trading/investing, if you wish to get financially secured in the future, you're very welcome to join the group. If you have something to share, you're very welcome to share what you know. After all, that's what this group is all about, learning, teaching and helping.

To those who have questions or queries, please feel free to send me a PM.
