Removing skywalks’ roofs?!

kong i-remove ang skywalks' roofs ... dapat i-remove sab ang nag-suggest na ni

asa man e remove?

removing the roofs to prevent medicants from dwelling on it?! that is just the most stupid excuse or remedy they could think of. these people deserve attention from the government, should we as well abolish the government for they do not serve their purpose? sakto ba na logic? inhuman ra kaayo!

we've been yakking about it... that government should do this... do that... get rid of this government... but there's not much we can do about it... we're stuck with this government! so, roll with it!

so kung ang problema: kung naay kuto ang iro dapit sa iyang ulo, upawan na lang nato? o di ba kaha, putlan na lang ug ulo para mawala ang problema? sakto ba?

ikaw, what do you think should we do about it? we've been suggesting in the city government's forum that they should address the problem with vendors, mendicants, those crazy people who've roaming around for ages but nothing happened... you have anything new to offer that would not require too much finances and manpower to address the problem? way sapi ang ciudad and this problem isn't on top of their priority list... i would rather see those skywalk without roofs on clean and free from "bad elements" than what it is now... baho, daghang ga stambay og magkalisod himoon pang motel

bisan tingali i-remove ang atop sa skywalks inig ka gabii wa may init so naa gihapon mangatulog dinha, himuon CR (baho gihapon), ug grabe pa gyod himuon motel. nya kung dili pirmi mag uwan, walay mo banlaw sa ihi, baho gihapon.

naa naman gyod na dinha ang atop, ngita nalang lain solution.

kung makadugog tingali ang ubang nagpuyo sa skywalk nga sa pikas skywalk ang mga nagpuyo gipang-punish-san (ambot sa unsa nga paagi), manghawa pod tingali ang mga nagpuyo sa pikas skywalk.

If the main purpose of removing the roofs is to get rid of the vagrants and mendicants, why not address the solution directly to them? Kung tangtangon na ang atop, almost everybody will be crossing the streets then magdakop dakop sa mga sakyanan, which makes it very unsafe, labi na kung mag uwan.

sakto si goryo, dapat tangtangan na ug atop, para pag mo ulan at least malimpyohan ang baho...

para sab ma avoid tong mga nagpuyo na sa skywalks... but government should also plan para atong mga nagpuyo...

tawo man sab to naa na sa ato ang kalooy... pero lain ma jud tawon gud...

basta para sa akoa.. remove ang roof... at the same time plan for those people nga naa nagpuyo..

but again... government should act for the contingency plan para sa kanang nagpuyo.. louy man sab.. tawo gud ghapon na..

The proper solution is to get rid of those people who dwell in the skywalks. I do believe we have agencies and private groups for that. Removing the roofs is not a guarantee that they'll leave. As one posted here, tangtangon ang atop, they'll just find another ways. Daghan kaayo ug mga karton and raw materials nga pwede nila gamiton.

As what was posted in the topic: "To get rid of vagrants and mendicants". Nobody mentioned anything about relocation, in turn, pasagdan gihapon ni sila and they'll just return, or probably, find another place nga mapuy-an, which will be another sore to the eye, another problem, and soon, another topic that we'll be discussing here in Istorya.

tangtangon na at least kung mo balik sila, no choice na...

they will have to look for another.. or they will be force to go back to DSWD... i think DSWD is working on this kind of concerns, pero dili lang jud Best effort... kung binasaya pa.. walay ka effort-effort...
