GANAS, an event to do right after wedding.

Just want to ask your opinion on this.

We have this thing we called "GANAS".
Ganas = An event after sa kasal sa balay sa lalaki if ang couple is adto mouli sa balay sa laki. Something like salo-salo or a celebration for the newlywed couple.

We're about to get married with my GF and my GF is not in favor of this thing but my family wants to have this. We decided to have this a day after the wedding but my parent tells me that it needs to be right after (nig ka gabie, if buntag ang kasal).

Is this really necessary? If needed jud xa, when will be the time/day nga naa ni xa.

i dont think so. nothing was mentioned to us when we had our wedding(civil) last sept 2013. after sa wedding, kaon mi restaurant with family then naay salo2 mi sa balay sa wife nako with our friends and barkadas. it was such a great day! hehe good luck ts. do what you have to do. importante happy mo.
