Not sure if clone post ni coz, the other thread was about the town of Tabuelan itself however, ako ra active ngpost pra sa Durhan White Beach Resort. This thread is all about Durhan White Beach Resort however the Title is very misleading and Im not the one who started all this thread.. Ako lng ang active.

Sorry for your disappointed stay in Durhans White Beach Resort. I've already talked to mgt about your issue.

With regard to the trip, as all of us here in Cebu knows, the trip will usually take 2-3hrs depending on the driver and if ever you're taking a bus, VHire, Private Vehicle.

Personally, I think the rooms are worth the price and accommodation of person for each room is correct.. The room that you said is good for 4 person can actually house in up to 6 persons if you're talking about C1, C2, C3 rooms. The other rooms are only good for 2&3 persons though and we're talking about A1-4 & B1-4.

I can attest to this since I've stayed at the resort also.

yes, I agree that the excess charge is very expensive since mgt is limiting excess heads per room to give customers better comfort and the rooms wouldn't get crowded. Maybe we can have this addressed during the monthly mgt meeting.

About the Cable TV, as we all know Tabuelan is situated in the province and have very few options with the service. I remember they have already tried Dream Cable already and were experiencing problems. And now they're hooked up with Cignal Cable in which we all know buffers all the time.

As for the water, if you ask for tap water then it'll be free however if you want mineral then it should be charged, right? That's been the practice ever since. If you go eat in a restaurant, fast food chain and the likes you'll be asked if you'll have tap water or mineral, it's free for tap but you pay for mineral. Good thing that there's 1 piso hulog hulog mineral wherein you can save you're Php. 20 for a bottled water, right?

For the food, I agree with you that it's not that good. Thing is, most customers bring there own food to cook. We bring our own food to cook when we stay in resorts. It's more affordable and you can cook with you own choice of taste. The resort is doing its best to get the best cook available in the area since the location is in the province.

As for the hot water, I'll inform mgt on what can be done about this.

If we stay in 5 star hotels for a day we pay 4-8k/ room and that only includes breakfast for some hotels. Also, there are no 5 star hotels in Tabuelan.

Where can you find a resort wherein there are no stray dogs? If you go to mactan or any other resorts here in cebu, even in bohol and boracay there are stray dogs, right?

I do think that Durhans White Beach Resort isn't a paradise but close to one.


PS:

If kamo to ang ni hangyo sa van nga mgpa hatud sa simbahan, wala mo gi hatud kay wala man to labot sa sabot cgro. Ang sabot is 2 ways lang. Going there and back to the city. If nag plano mo nga himuon unta gamiton ang van going around the town then you could've talked to the owner of the van regarding it.

Also, you could have aired your disappointment here. Tabuelan - nice beach!

* I went there also, I was a bit dissappointed kay and knife naay charge like P15.00, gamay man so okay na lang, if moborrow me ug plates, fork, spoon and any kitchen utensils kay naai charge each, we stayed sa house jus nila na good for 8 persons, maximum of 12 pax, which is okay ra jud namo, so mas advisable if daghan mo to take the unit good for 8 person, you will have ur own kitchen, makaluto jud, daghan tinuood stray dogs, so what? I was dissapointed pud d.i kay nanghuwam me ug bola for volleyball, I was shock kay 50 pesos per hour, so i talk to the management kay we were informed by a resident there na 50 per day not per hour. So i talked to the management then amo gihangyo 100 per day na lang. Then the restaurant, ok ra ang food pero pwerteng gamaya sa serving jud, lupig pa ang restaurant, huhuhu... then nagkaproblema me sa van kay naabot sila ug 12pm, gipugus me nila ug pasakai ug sayo but gapagahi me ug ulo, When 1pm strikes, ga.wait jud sila namo, sa dihang manakai name, giingnan me na kuwangan ug 4 persons, pabayran daw nila namo ang kuwang, we were 12 persons man then good for 16 daw.. makalagot kaayo kay take advantage sila abi kay sila ray van, mao to we decide to take the bus, mura mag dili ta sanany ug hu.ot sa jeep.

ADVICE NAKO: If ever moadto mo sa durhan, please bring everything, kaldero, plates, bowls, knife, chopping board, also bedsheets kay naa bayad na didto, be a boyscout and girlscout, bring mo ug rice kay mahal ila rice didto, then take the house if daghan mo kay cheaper, bring sad mo ug sud.an kay mahal ila sud.an, although duol ra ang market if ganahan mo mamalit ug magluto, and ayaw pailad sa van.. dad.a tanan in case u need lang kay all things didto naai charge.. but we had fun though, ok ra ang sand, but bati kay cge low tide.. wa me kaligo ayo... =(.. nanginhas na lang me.. Goodluck guys, the fun is not kay nindot or bati ang place... its how u make ur day ra man jud na,,,
