IF IT'S RUNNING ON THAT BOARD , THEN IT'S SUPPORTED.

even if it's current as long as it's running good , NO WORRIES.

Ug kasagaran sa mga nakita nko nga advices kay as long as everything is running fine, don't perform a bios update daw. Magpa advice lang pud ko sa mga PROs diri kung dpat ba mag update sa bios for my mobo to "officially support" my procie? Any disadvantages kung dili mag update?
read more of the BIOS Update. look for it's benefits in comparison to current state.

usually if it's not supported.it will not run. if it does run. when u right click

the Procie is unrecognizable < this is the case u will need to update BIOS. >

or if some inherent services of the procie will not run.< this is the case u will need to update BIOS. >

if u need to perform update

use the EZ update version, PRAY na dili mu brown-out.

My rule of thumb, read the bios changes.. if nothing concerns you, don't update bios.. Update bios when you really need to..
Not all Bios Updates are good..sometimes naay bios updates nga for "protection" (himan2 g.limit rah diay ang akong max multiplier and base frequency which nkalimit sa akong OC).. so read bios changes, then decide to update or not.. NEVER update with a beta bios.

for added safety, update bios via flash drive.. this way if it fails(brownout) you have a clean copy of the bios and simply flash bios via USB.. and also for added-added safety keep a separate USB for the current BIOS installed on your system.
