Default How to pick the right RAM?

hi mga masters ask lng unta ko what to look for in a ram, im going to use i7 4770 non k ako napilian kay G.skill Trident X 8 gig 2x4 2400 dili ba siya bottleneck? or unsa mga factors unsa tan-awon sa sakto nga ram gamiton?

    ARK | Intel® Core

    Memory Types DDR3-1333/1600

so your G.skill Trident X 8 gig 2x4 2400 is an overkill for NON OC use.

nor will it bottlenecks your PC's performance.

thanks butitoy sir so using Memory Types DDR3-1333/1600 is more than enough for i7 4770? or is it just enough? should i go for 1833 for a little headroom or is it just a waste?

official support for 4770 is 1333/1600 rams no performance gains with more headroom. gitubag na na nga pangutana nmo ni butitoy above.

Stick with the 1600. That's more than enough.

some people, if not all want to squeeze more juice out of their wares,( you can count me in )

so OC is the answer. even the Non K can be OCed (Less headroom ) on a different ways than the K version's unlocked multiplier thingy.

one of the many is CPU : DRAM ratio setting

having DDR3 with higher speed gives you a little bit more of headroom.

DDR3 2400 downgrade to DDR3 1600 will give you a tigher CAS Level at 1600

    if you set ur DRAM 1:1 ( CPU - DRAM ) @ 1866

u OC ur procie, yet ur 2400 is still on a downspeed

so, what would your Procie speed be at 2400MHz RAM when u set ratio @ 1:1?

    do the math.

so on a regular use that RAM is just overkill for the speed ( does not mean performance )
