Inadequate power from my UPS

Good day istoryans

Mangayu unta ko ug tambag sa mag master diri.

Naa koy FSP USP 600va, ako lang i-verify sa inyu if sakto ba akong duda na kuwang ni siya para sa akong system unit.

Scenario 1:

Ga browse ra kos net then ni brown-out, back up mode dayun ang UPS, gave me ample time to shut down my PC properly. ok ra ko ani way problema.

Scenario 2:

Ga duwa ug game akong anak - Batman Origins, ni brown-out! - diretso pawng ang PC.

Question:

1. Dili ba kaha kaya sa akong UPS ang PC?

2. Unsay advisable nig off sa PC? leave UPS on or turn it off?

PC ra and monitor ang naka connect sa UPS.

Specs:

3770k - wala gi-OC ( cooled by H110i)
Asrock Z77 Ext 4
GTX 660 Ti - wala pud gi-OC
1 SSD, 2 HDD
7 fans.
SS 600w

active PFC power supplies and cheap UPS is not a good combination. active APC even suggests ilang SmartUPS models for PFC devices. this has got to do with simulated sine wave sa inverter from ups when battery kicks in.

nag check nimo bro if fully charged ba ang batt sa UPS? don't power off your UPS para maka charge sya'g maayo... mga 24 hrs man ang full load anang unit nimo kay 600 VAC mana sya...

about your HW, pwerteng kayaha ana nya sa UPS nimo, ang suyop anang CPU box nimo from the mains/UPS kay less than 300 W at full load (gaming mode) ... naa sa 340 ~ 360 W range man siguro nang 600 VAC UPS nimo...

good question Sir Lloyd, unsaun pag check if full load ang UPS?

ingun sa manual kay i-charge ug 6 hrs before using, which I think I did.

akong qeustion is if sakto ba akong pag charge initially.

- Gi plug ra nako sa power source ang UPS, turn it on and leave it for 6 hrs.

dapat ba i-on ang UPS pag charge nako or dapat naka off lang?

pwde ra e.plug ra ang ups, mocharge nana sya bisag wala naka.on ang unit.

pila na ka-years imu UPS..? nway sa mandaue naa ra ang clixlogic.. pra na sa APC.. makapalit ra ka ug battery nila ddto..

yup, mo charge ra gyud ang UPS bisan naka power off sya diay... ang charging nya, mo vary sa model. naa'y mga models na mas pas2x sila mag charge if naka switched-On sya... akoang gi confirm diri sa amoang IT ni... wala ko mag gamit ug UPS and/or AVR diri. diretso ra tanan sa wall... stable man ang kuryente namo diri man gud pud...

update lang unya TS sa 24 hrs na charging nmo if ning improve ba sya... para maka hatag ug comment diri atoang mga bros/sis na experience-sado aning UPS...
