All your technical help would be greatly appreciated. Here is my project, problem whatever you wanna call it. I am interested in using SkyVOIP here in the states para free ang tawag diha sa Pinas. The problem is ( which I didnt tell Sky bout this) is they said that the adapter/VOIP phone is IP sensitive, meaning it can only be use in the locality where you purchase the device..lets say you purchase this in Manila u can only use this in Manila coz if u use it somwhere else they can detect that the IP address ur using is different and they will disconnect ur service.

Proposal/Solution: If somebody can teach me how to use a Philippine IP address here in the states that would be awesome. One suggest that the only solution would be VPN. Not possible for me. Any geeks out there who can 'fix" this...

bro, naa ka sa states karon? if naa ka sa states, apply diha ug voip line. then kana imo voip subrscription which includes the VOIP telephone adapter ipadala na sa pinas, then ipa connect na sa internet. then from the states, pwede na na nimo matawagan and from the philippines pwede sad makatawag sa US. nakahibaw ko ani na setup kay naa sad ko friend nga iya kuya naa sa states, they own an internet cafe diha sa cebu... mao na ang gibuhat sa iya kuya, nya ako maoy ga setup/ga connect sa VOIP.

as far as i know bro sky voip cant be used if installed outside pinas
