im using globelines dsl. is there a way that i will be able to have a different ip address when i log on to servers? like YM, Skype n etc.
id like to have a US base ip address. pwede ba na? naay nag suggest IP masking but i dont know what is that.

whats the need for add'l IP? 1 NIC can only hv 1 IP/
u can have US ip address if you have router in US and your internet gateway is in US. why u also need US IP? is it for US DID termination? a local public IP will do...
unsa dy imo purpose bro?

there are some sites that u need a US base ip address for you to be able to register.

really? hmmm.
haven't tried that.. probably coz am using US IP.
can you post the site? maybe i could try using a local ISP.

i have to look for it again. i came across that site long time ago and when i saw several concerns re IP posted here dats y i tried to post it hoping someone can help.
if i remem it correctly d reason why it requires a US IP cz its a site with services for US residents.
