Default Using mobile phones in banks is a Constitutional right

    By ROD VERADecember 1, 2013 2:36pm

Picture this: You are in line at your local bank, waiting for your turn to pay that darn mobile phone bill.

    Atty. Rod Vera
As you read the mysterious charges billed to you, the intolerable ring tone you chose is heard from your pocket. You struggle to answer your phone, making sure the cash doesn’t fall from your other hand. As you swipe your finger sideways on the screen, a guard gives you a dirty look and motions that you can’t answer the phone.

Has this happened to you? If it has, welcome to the club. Well, as for me, I want that club to be extinct

i think, its for security reason why banks don't allow using celfons.

Probably to ensure that robbers don't have a way to case the bank readily from the inside.

it's obvious I was sharing it.. the lawyer who wrote that column has a point.

and your comparison does not make sense by the way.

read article... and present your argument there.

“The privacy of communication and correspondence shall be inviolable except upon lawful order of the court, or when public safety or order requires otherwise, as prescribed by law.”
I think this provision already clarify the issue.
If the intention of the bank is for safety and order to prevent robbery and probable loss of life,
then it's quite impossible to challenge the ruling.
