Classic example of conflict of interest and bias. Of course she sleeps on the same bed with the person who should be in charge of relief operations in Tacloban. Haaay Korina.

bati man gud bay nga ipanawng nila sa kalibutan nga disorganized ta, never clearly citing the things that caused such delays.. it shouldve been a two sided report.. bay criticism always hurts us, no matter how positively we take it, naa jud nay punto nga nig sulti ana nila nimu masakitan ka, then constructive thinking follows..
bati, but mao mana ang tinuod...that's why daghan cge yawyaw diri coz we want change...gusto nato mo nindot, but kng dli nato e admit na bati ta, aw dli jud ta monindot ana ky nindot nman kaha d i ta...but ang uban ngtan-aw nato bati d i...
truth hurts they say, but we can change that truth through change.

Haiyan (Yolanda) Update: Filipina Newsreader Korina Sanchez Slammed For Printed Slippers Donation
yes true but change will not happen kong right now all we do is bash our own nation.. maybe we can start by doing something about it, you know the ye old be-part-of-the-solution campaign,. imagine if this nation will be full of bashing people and crabs, we will never move forward, but if otherwise this nation will be filled with optimistic people each moving proudly forward, well in the long run our nation in turn will also move forward..
She should resign. It was unethical for her to use her job as a platform given her personal situation and that rant seemed awfully personal to me. The upside is that she has inadvertently drawn global attention to a deep rooted problem in PH.... political control and interference in the media.
The truth is more important than trying to save face. Take it as a wake up call.
I don't think any of the international new agencies actually said we are a "big stupid disorganized race". That's just you reading into the actual report: "there is no real evidence of organized relief operations". It's an observation in one particular day, and another one will replace it in the next day, and the day after that, etc. You're just worried other people will read into it like you did.
I don't know why you're worrying too much about stereotypes. Yes, there will always be stereotypes, not only about Filipinos. There are stereotypes about Koreans, Asians, the Arabs, even Americans, and none of these stereotypes will die as long as lazy idiots keep believing them. What you're suggesting is to silence the truth just to appease a bunch of people who are too lazy or bigoted to search for it. Eff them. Let them think what they want to think. Our country has bigger problems and if we want to solve them we need to be in the business of truth so that we will know where to start...
