still in it's infancy mao nang medyo gubot as per my personal experience

cases in point,
if naay kay old Windows game like Virtual Tennis 4 dili na mogana out of the box with the included GFWL installer
you have to go online to download a bootstrap installer but what if you can't go online?
kasagaran redistributable package available online kay old versions nga dili compatible for Windows 8.1.
I spent 3 hours searching the Internet for the the latest compatible distributable version for backup purposes.

and the old Net framework 3.5 pasad required for games and apps, online gihapon ang download.
ang netframewok 3.5 is in the system sa Windows 8 pero you have to go online to install it.
If naay kay Windows 8 installer you can input some command parameters para ma redirect to the CD installer.
command parameters nga dili familiar for an average windows user
