Less Electricity consumption: window or split type aircon

Unsa man mas maayo Window type or split type aircon ug unsa mas less ug consumption.....
Help pls..........

ng.ask na mi sa mga appliance centers, ingon sila mas makasave daw ug window type... we have a split type aircon pero naguba ang compressor, that's why ng.ask mi if asa less ug energy consumption coz we'll buy a new one na lang then window type... thanx

hmmm i thought power consumption depends on size of your motor
another factor is how long will you use it

Kanang unsa d.i ang advantage lang sa split type with window type? Ang space lang niya ug dili samok?

Window Type:
- window provision for mounting and installation
- wont take floor space

Split Type Wall Mount:
- wall provision or alternative for the tubing (hole in your wall)
- expensive

consumption is practically the same

amount in peso = power rating (kW ; 1hp = 1000kW) x hours used per day x 30 days (approximation) x price/KwH (depends where you are located example my appartment is in Zosa Compound and the rate is a whooping Php 6.75 in Talamban it is only Php 3.00 ++)

The lower the effeciency ratio the more saving you make.

yup the type won't matter in electrical consumption. look for the wattage.

also factor in the thermostat settings / target temp setting (how long the compressor is working).
