Definitely, Mar Roxas will never be on my ballot! Why? Unsa man gibuhat niya? Siya and iya body guards kay wa man gani nakatabang hulbot sa mga patay didto. Pa-gwapo ra sila mag-labay2x! Pun-an pa sa mga taga-NDRRMC nga mga arogante kau kung e-interview!

It rebounded during reconstruction and peaked in the 60-70s. Contrary to what you said, even though the Japanese are naturally disciplined people, they had a lot of critics within the country during the post-war times. My point is, criticism does not hurt growth. In fact, the Japanese were not an optimistic people after the war, they were, however, disciplined. That's why there is so much we Filipinos can learn from the Japanese. The argument that people have to support the government in order for growth to materialize is plain false. So really, discipline is the key, not complacency. People can be critical of the leadership but at the same time disciplined to do what is needed and right. Additionally, leaders have an obligation to restore and maintain the people's faith in the government, in Japan they take grievous offense with public servants caught in scandals or incompetence, and so, it is a big disgrace for them to be caught in anomaly or deemed incompetent--they off themselves. Here in the Philippines we embrace it, it has become something so integral to our culture. Why? partly because of our lack in discipline as a people.

    Sorry for the OT.
You are looking at the right angle here, but your argument only proved that we are in the same line of thinking here, at least fundemantally.. indeed discipline is the key, that's why i emphasized earlier where we should start.. i understand your frustration, kong atong ikompara we are way behind other countries, but dwelling on that fact only puts our country a bad name, not that it already is.. Our government is a creature born out of the collective ideals and idiosyncrasies of our people, and its not all that bad if you look deeper in our Constitution, if you find imperfection in our government that's only because, like what you implyingly say here, we are imperfect, we have this culture of ija-ija, this bahala na habit, or unya nlang, ug unsa pana diha, and like you said we already accepted that within ourselves, well aint that sad?... that's why if ever we want change, we cant expect for our government to give us that, kong magsugod ta karon sa atong kaugalingon ug sa atong mga anak and the next, nindot jud tag future in the long run, but if we start by harboring this culture of pointing fingers and passing accountability, well dili jud ta mausab.. ari rjud ta kutob.. wala juy laing paagi bay, usbon jud nato atong mindset tagsa2 mao rjud na.. Like what they all say.. Optimism is the key,

If we don't demand for accountability now, who will? When? We deserve better from the government, especially in critical times like these. Simply saying, "That's what our government is capable of, sabta nalang" is tantamount to tolerating mediocrity. We've been screwed over by the government so many times, haven't we had enough? You're right, the government is a reflection of what we are. It's a government that tells of a people who no longer care about getting the short end of the stick all the time.
It's not our government that's screwing us up, no not generally, it's just some pricks using the government to feed their greedy desires. i hope you understand that.. and what better way to change that but to create a better legacy that will lead us in the future, the way we always want.. naa rjud sad na sa atong mga kamot bay kay kita rman sad ang magpili sa mga taw nga mo lead nato, naa bitaw tarong unta pero adto jud ta anang tagaan lang ta ug baynte pesos, naa bitaw tarong nga linya adto jud ta moduol sa fixer, magbutang bitaw ug traffic lights ang gobyerno pero naa gihapon madakpan sa colon nga mag j-walking, hate the people not the government.. and dont expect too much nga tabangan ta sa atong gobyerno, although pirme mana nagtabang nato ang gobyerno, ang mga bati lang imong gitan-aw that's why... better services are already existing, you just have to see it to know it..

OT: Patyon na unta c Janet Napoles samtang busy ang mga tao sa relief goods.

The government is well aware of the damage Yolanda can make before it hit the country. They even know nga magkastorm surge. I think wala lang jud nla gi-educate ug tarong ang mga tao sa coastal areas labi na sa Tacloban kung unsay epek ana. From what I heard from the people dre sa amoa kay duol raman mi sa Mactan Airbase. Kato daw pag.anhi ni Mar Roxas kahibaw na cya nga magstorm surge jud ug daghan jud ang mamatay however the government cant support or is not able to evacuate thousands of people from where they are to a safer place. Gilikayan pud daw nga marattle ang mga tao. So they have to make sacrifices daw.

OnT: gabasa lang ang baba aning Korina. Kalami sagpaon sa iyang mga tsenelas
