bark up the wrong tree...hehhehe....
Atty Villamor could not give him any info about the PDAF because he is not the lawyer for that case. It will be a violation on his end. As per Clavio's opening statement, it will be for the "serious illegal detention case" then why would he fish on PDAF?
The lawyer answered him accordingly but it looks like Clavio does not have any idea on court proceedings or legal procedural matters. (His bad!)
lahi sad ni imuha bay... atong subject dri is about ARNOLD CLAVIO as a reporter, dili about kinsa ang gidepensaan adtong abogado... unprofessional kaayu xa, naa kas public unya ingon ana ka,,, kita bakas laing news sa ubang nasod na ingon ani ka barbaric? tsk tsk.... hahay. mga savages
it's not actually a bad analogy because the point there is that they are both performing their duties and not about "giving justice."
and why is it that a lawyer can use your so called "technicalities?" because of the laws created by flawed "representathieves/representatives" that you might have voted for as well. so, what can you suggest then?
Am afraid it does not work that way Mister.lawyering is a job. if you're a lawyer with ethics, whatever the case may be and how guilty the accused is in the eyes of the general public, it should not matter. I believe you're aware of this, "a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty." ah, you heard of it but cannot totally relate to it because you're not a lawyer.
We are a Court of Law and not of People. too bad, it may not suit your taste.
Accepting/Declining a case is a CHOICE(You can't be liable for a crime for declining unlike nurses if you didn't do your job so please spare us from comparing a nurse from a lawyer). Its between money and your principle.I think the lawyer is aware that he may be hated but then money smells. And this "a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty" is an overstatement prone to sympathies.
I never voted even once in my life(someone says I voted these representatives). I don't have my hands in those stupid laws which are only good in papers.
OnT: Just like what Kapunan said "Napoles wants someone she can control". Money can really bend a person's principle. What Clavio did is just right.

hahahaha gisapot si ARN2x wa kapugong
miscommunication ra ni
siguro sa kang ARN2x gusto lang niya madunggan straight na tubag
ang abogado sakto man pero pang explain niya/ tinubagan nga mora ug way klaro, mao ang nasapotan ni ARN2x hahaha (can't blame the guy)
sos kung si MDS ang mangutana aning abogadoha sa hearing, hilak ni ug angkla!
You said this "a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty."
and then you contradict by saying "because you're not a lawyer."
My point is you are quick to judge. I will it say it back to you like this "don't judge the book by its cover".
OnT: Anyone who surrounds Napoles should be prepared to feel the people's hatred.

bagay ra sa hitsura ni arnold clavio ang iyang batasan...
On the contrary, an ethical lawyer should not decline any case. If one will use his own emotion to judge whether to accept the case or not then that lawyer has already departed from this very norm, "Court of Law and not of Man."
To hate a lawyer defending an accused is an act of a narrow-minded person. Again, he is just doing his job. So long as that lawyer uses only the "technicalities" provided by the law and does not employ extra-judicial means then there is no reason for him to be hated.
Inaction may be equated to favouring the majority. THat's the reason why it's the worst sin in Dante's Inferno.
what then are you trying to say? if lawyering for Napoles is "all about the money" then she should not get any lawyer at all? she should not undergo a trial? well, you wish! I wish, too! That she will just go directly to jail and all her assets will be liquidated in favour of the people. But that's not the case.
what's the relationship of the two you are trying to connect?
you want me to presume that you are a lawyer until proven otherwise?hahaha
lau na kau ta sa topic.
i just picked up the nurse-lawyer analogy and pointed what the person tried to say. i did not start it.however, you seem to make a lot out of it. you might wanna stay on the premise. believe me, i understand what you're trying to say. at times, i have the same sentiments too.
***with everything said, I still stick to my point that Clavio acted unprofessionally as a media person. He has some rights but he should exercise those RESPONSIBLY. [with great power comes great responsiblity.]
