give and take na sila... inig counter sa Nvidia, watch out ang AMD... then counter ang AMD, fans club napud ang Nvidia... and vice versa... bilog ang mundo... but ang bottom line, happy ta'gn consumers... hehehe...
nice kaayo ang pricing sa AMD... kaubo ug price cuts napud ning Green camp ani...
diri, ang R9 290x cost 4,599 rmb (32.2K php)... a GTX Titan cost 7,599 rmb (53.2K php)... and a GTX 780 cost 4,599 m,b (32.2K php)... the same price as a R9 290x... if i'll buy a new GPU and these are my choices, then it would be no brainer for me to grab the current AMD flagship GPU... that's the R9 290x...

if i'm eyeing for the 290x I'd wait a few months till the non-reference design comes out. The stock cooler of the 290x is not the efficient in terms of cooling and noise.
kani gyu'ng naa'y bag-ong GPU release, maka check man pud ta's atoang current na gigamit... kani gyu'ng R9 290x gyu'd... nice man gud kaayo ang price... before ko nag sleep, nag duwa gyud ko kay nag regor akoang utok if mag upgrade napud ba or dili... so, share ko's average fps as shown on FRAPS... heads up display values lang... @ 1080p...
CPU: Intel SB i5 2550K OC'ed to 4.2 GHz
GPUs: Yeston GTX 670 on 2-way SLI... reference design and running @ stock
Played both games on multi-player online... Crysis 3 @ 16 players and BF3 @ 64 players respectively... both were maxed out on multiplayer mode on the maximum number of gaming headcount...
> Crysis 3... presets are all maxed out... AA was set to MSAA 8x... average fps is > 60 (usually, stable at this fps value)... minimum is @ 55 fps... panagsa ra kaayo... if ang MSAA is set at MSAA 4x, ang average fps will be > 90... minimum will be @ 83 fps...
> BF 3... Ultra presets (auto maxed out)... average fps is > 120... minimum is @ 112 fps... panagsa ra kaayo pud...
haven't tested Far Cry 3, wala pa ma install nako'g balik after installing the SSD. so far, acceptable ra ni'g performance in the current games... looking forward to BF 4... "if the itch will become unstoppable", then i'll jump ship for my main gaming rig's GPU... reason... the "Price to Performance Ratio" of the R9 290x is very hard to resist... hehehehe... but i'm hoping that I can resist this "unnecessary" upgrade though since my set up still rocks...

^ kaso, dili pa ma unleash ang full power sa HD 7790 ni bro Jemcubsss due to the current HW limitation...
bro jinkazama92,
ang CPU & ram nya... need sya to upgrade to a faster CPU and at least 4GB system memory... nag post man sya ug lain thread about sa HW and his HD 7790... nag tubag pud ko did2...

nice kaayo gyud ang HD 7790 once i manual OC lani na on a non-reference cooling system... dako man gud ni sila'g head room to play the OC setting ang AMD compared sa Kepler... but for the Kepler "refresh", no idea ko's OC limitation nila... 1st Gen man puro ning Kepler based GPUs nako gud (GT 640, GTX 650 and 2 x GTX 670 ug ang previous 2 x GTX 660 Ti)... I can only comment on these babes...
ma compare nko sa akoang 2 x HD 7770 GHz Edition na akoang gi OC... abot sila'g 1.2 GHz ang core clock... a 200 MHz OC gain from its base clock of 1 GHz...
