I have an old router and been set aside because I have a new one.
Pwede ba ni nako himuon nga wireless adapter ang ako daan nga router para maoy moconnect didto sa new router?

actually bro, gamay ra ka-ayo na sila ka-on , it's only 5v and 1amp atmost, if you like calculations for it, it would sum up to only an electricity payment of: less than 20php a month [even if 24/7]

libog ko gamay sa imo description but..., what you can do to your 'old' wireless router is either:
● bridge
● gateway (a.k.a. access point) <-- your best choice and lesser hassle
● wireless repeater (according to your manufacturer..., dili daw pwede )

gamita siya as a 'gateway/access point' IF and only if na-ay place sa imo house/office nga weak ka-ayo ang signal then need nimo/ninyo mugamit dihang lugara then ibutang diha ang old router to provide a good signal (ayg kalimti ang wiring ani ha ) {OR target nimo kay imo i-share sa imo silingan! }..., BUT if the new router can cover the ENTIRE household..., then you 'DO NOT NEED' your old router anymore (unless you use it as a switch nalang to extend wired stuff )

tama sila pwede sya i-bridge mode sa murag wireless adapter ang gamit sa old router.

to do it, go to your router's setup page, click the advanced routing sub tab, nya change operating mode to gateway.

nya mag set up ka ug assigned Ip address niya na dapat within the range sa i-connect nimu na router pud....

Yeah, sakit jud sa ulo nya bulky pajud kay naa may wireless USB adapter man pud.

ang gusto man ni TS kay himuong wireless iyang pc nya cguro wala syay pampalit ug wireless adapter nya wrt54gs2 ray naa niya, so kana iyang choice for now....

pero TS I highly suggest na kung ganahan ka na less hassle kay ibaligya na imung WRT54gs2 nya ipalit ug wireless adapter, kanag USB type or dongle, pero ayaw nang PCI type kay hasol hasol rag abri sa cpu ana para mainstall, nya possible burned out ang PCI slot sa CPU so, isa papud na.

a WRT43GS2 is a good router baya. Less issues pero these days N routers na ang uso, which is faster than a G.

So naa pud compatibility issue in SOME... pero dont get me wrong, lig-on baya na na router. believe me. I had customers calling for configuration support lang bisan 5-6 years old na ang ilang G router.

access point = TP link kadto 2 ka antenna.. nya mahimo pud siya repeater
wireless bridge router = dlink
router = cisco kadto naa voip adapter aron maka connect sa ako PABX ang pikas balay
devices = computer, mobile devices, IP camera
