Indeed, such campaigns should not be done because it will be unfair since there is no verdict yet. After all, if political circumstances are just the basis for the innocent verdict of the ousted president, it will defeat the purpose of having the trial at all.

I hope that the judgment would be for conviction otherwise the efforts of the people whp trooped to EDSA to ask for his resignation will just be put in vain. Plus the people power is the sovereign will of the people. The guilt of Erap is obvious in the different tactics his group is doing to pressure the Sandiganbayan to pressure it to give a not guilty verdict. We must set an example for all government officials that being in a high position does not and will never exempt one from being prosecuted.
