Default About how the engine works

In theory ang engine na 3.5L more gas makuha than a 2.0L engine. Ang uban mi ingon nga ang 3.5 and 2.0 engines pareha ra ug mpg(miles per gallon) when youre at the city. Tinoud ba nga 3.5 and 2.0 engines pareha rag kuha sa gas when given a fixed kmph? (like 20kmph ra)

Bro, in my own opinion, this is due to the power-to-weight ratio factor..although an engine may be bigger, but granting they will carry the same weight, it will exert lesser force to perform vs a smaller engine..just like asking an adult to lift a sack of rice which he can lift with less effort as compared if you let a young boy do it..maalsa man sa bata but with more effort..

ohh okay kung wala ang weight factor? mao ra ba kaha gihapon? like engine lang ang padaganon

diha na na ma apply ang theory boss nga ang 3.5L engine running @ idle will consume more fuel on a 2.0L engine running @ idle...

but acceleration wise assuming pariha ra sila ug weight factor, mas pas2x gyud musutoy ang 3.5L kaysa 2.0L pero kung city driving, (stop and go 15-20KPH) ang 3.5L engine will move the vehicle @ low RPM thus consuming less gas, while a 2.0 engine revs higher to move the vehicle thus consuming higher gas, all in all almost pareha ra ug consumption ang duha from point A to point B, pero kung ma apil na sa recipe ang acceleration, wagtang gyud na ang 2.0 sa 3.5 assuming nga pareha sila ug weight factor...
