Special Non-Working Holiday -- this basically is no work, no pay. If I understand your post right, you mean nga naay deduction two days ang imong incentive kay wala ka ni work for Aug. 21 and 30 special non-working holidays. So, this is not related directly to these holidays but lies to the incentive system in place. Ask your manager if you don't know the criteria to clear things up.

wa man klaro amo management gud mao ask qg lain opinion sa mga tao..karon ra ni cla ng sunod sa holidays pay ky na.i nirekalamo na employee..ang nkabati lng gibayran mi sa double pay but la labot among overtime like ani (If the employee worked in excess of eight hours (overtime work), he/she shall be paid an additional 30 percent of his/her hourly rate on said day. Computation: Hourly rate of the basic daily wage x 200% x 130% x number of excess hours worked.) ang paying day sa amo ky every 5(basic salary) then every 20 (incentives + quota ).every 20 mi deductionan tanan sa mo absent or late then sa special non working holiday pd na 2 days..knsa naa idea dra na mka 2bag nq?

are you a daily employee or monthly?

basically, if you are a daily employee it is difinitely no work no pay if it is a special non-working holiday. even Sundays wala jud na bayad ang mga daily employees unless if they render overtime. That is what I have experienced with my previous employer a few years ago to my subbordinates who are a daily rate regular employee. I am not quite sure though if you are get paid if it is a regular holiday.

if you are a monthly rate employee, you should work for at least 1hr. the day prior the holiday in order for you to get paid on holidays. Or you may file a Leave of Absence "with pay" prior to holidays so that you will get paid as well.

check your payslip sir. check your "rate class" if it is "monthly" or "daily".

If it is monthly, bring that payslip to DOLE and ask for their advice.

If it is daily, your questions are now answered. You don't need to go to DOLE.

of what I know special holiday are working holidays..
if the employee did not work on that day, the “No work, No pay’” principle shall apply, unless there is a favorable company policy, practice or collective bargaining agreement (CBA) granting payment on a special day. - See more at: PIA | ?No work, no pay? policy applies to August 21 holiday ? DOLE

i still see this CBA thing simply bad for business...
