hmmm.... so hard to give a straightforward answer to that question w/o offending someone. hahahaha....

I think you have to take religion w a generous amount of salt. I had this friend who absolutely believed in the book of genesis. We were arguing about religion in general and we came upon the topic of evolution, at one point he said to me, "if evolution is true, then why do we humans, when we die, not turn into monkeys?" ( his logic was that the theory of evolution states that humans came from apes so when we die we should go back to being apes - he was trying to convince us that the book of genesis had it right, since god created us from earth, so we go back to being mud )... I tried my best not to insult him too much.

Religion cannot be easily categorized as true or false, since we are not capable of proving ( or disproving ) most if not all religious "facts".

Which is why faith is needed to be a part of a religion. Faith I think is the belief in something "true" according to one's own perspective.

If religion makes you a better person, then go ahead and believe. Religion has drawbacks though, ours for instance; I really hate catholics who think agnostics and atheists have special places in hell. Some of my friends tell me that there's nothing wrong in believing. But some people just don't get that there's also nothing wrong in disbelieving...

Nature is the true religion even before the so called religion was born...man has been worshiping Nature.

you sir are an open minded person

    OnT:

that is because believers quickly judge and belittle the non believers, and that defeats the purpose of their religion.. ironic isnt it?

tinood gyud na para sa mga followers ang ilang mga religion, mag luhod2x paman gani.

basta kay wa lang ka maka agrabyado sa uban ok raman guro nang religion, imo bitaw nang tinohoan..

as long as dili lang nimo ipamugos imo beliefs sa uban taw payts na

I there a true religion? You already know the answer.
Human Heart is Corruptible, It cannot be used to Determine the Truth.

Is that So? If we are worshiping Nature then WHY we dont follow the LAWS of Nature? the laws of Evolution? the Laws of Survival?
