If I am not mistaken, the flyover project was not pushed through due to some technicalities that the road is too narrow for a flyover and should be widened first.

sa akong pag uli sa cebu bisan ug 2 months ra, naka ingon gyud ko na luoy kau ang cebu, perting taasa sa crime rate. ang mga balita akong na dunggan kay puro mga tulis, mga hold-up. anytime and anywhere nako maka park kay wala nay TOWING, nisamot ang traffic ... nibati ang cebu tungod ni rama ...

Kung lain tawo diay maoy nagpadagan nini, dili diay molambo ang cebu. That means si Rama or si kinsa nga mga politician maoy magdumala dili na lang molambo ang cebu. Anomaliya ni Tomas pwerting daghana, ayaw mo kalibat ug pagka buta bungol. Kang Rama padulong pa ug file up. I vote for Rama for a change of power and governance at least dili ta pwede kabayran. Cebu is booming not because of tomas or rama or other politician but because businesses and investors believe on the potential and the growing market of cebu....I believe that Tomas is more experience in handling the city compare to Rama but health wise he is down below. When yo have that illness mentality and emotionally tend to change.....

it's good that we can demand change of power, I hope we can find more honest public service nga mayor in the future, to be honest kapoy naman kaayo ning political dynasty nga osmena, rama, garcia ang magsegi govern sa atong syudad. Maayo sab na sila ilisan para naa sab chance ang ubang ordinaryo nga citizen....Maayo gali nga only once ra pwede ma elect as mayor or any higher post sa government para fair and everybody has a chance.....

let's not forget that it was also another Osmena who made Mactan into what it is today - Sergio Osmena. He haggled and wrestled for Mactan to have it's own industry and so we have MEPZA ( it's been named differently ever since ) but the point is, Osmenas are always thinking for what's good for Cebu and Cebuanos, they want our lives to be better unlike some people out there who only think of themselves and their pockets.
