Pls check Iraq, Afghanistan & Libya (even Kosovo) if naa kai time. And we all knw how they intervened under the disguise of freedom, democracy and responsible to protect civilians daw. Attacking a sovereign country without UN approval is a violation of international law.

Though I'm against foreign interventions, I cant wait to see how the modern Syrian air defense against US/UK/France cruise missiles (which is the likely option they will take).

Will ok if you think outside interventions will not help end Assads tyranny in Syria then let the blood of the innocent be in your hands then...................

I agree there is no way that these powers will have a direct confrontation. Its more on a proxy war.
US/UK/France will ideally use cruise missiles from ships and subs to destroy air defence and command structure. Just like what Clinton did against former US buddy Saddam Hussein in the peak of Lewinsky scandal.

Regarding the Chinese Embassy bombing in Belgrade, its not accidental. It was a CIA airstrike request.

Wow. Make sure to read what i have suggested before making an opinion. Don't rely too much on mainstream media.
If you're really interested in geopolitics arena then have some time to read and analyze on what went wrong.

That was more than 10 years ago, much has changed since then. But I do hope you are right, that Russia is not "willing" of escalating this into a world war.

At the end of the day U.S. is still stronger, even if China and Russia decided to completely align themselves.

Katong sa Georgia... U.S. didn't even care. No major interest to be protected there, plus it was a very important election year. So no sense to posture against Russia.

Pero karun awa lang jud na si Commrade Putin. Tilaw jud nah.

And China. They can probably do economic sanctions or something. But in the process they'd hurt themselves while they are in a crucial part of their development...possibly stunting their growth. Militarily, neither can slug it out with the Americans.

Al-Assad is toast.
