kabalo baka outside intervention does not solved the problems?

Pls check Iraq, Afghanistan & Libya (even Kosovo) if naa kai time. And we all knw how they intervened under the disguise of freedom, democracy and responsible to protect civilians daw. Attacking a sovereign country without UN approval is a violation of international law.

Though I'm against foreign interventions, I cant wait to see how the modern Syrian air defense against US/UK/France cruise missiles (which is the likely option they will take).

Testimony from victims strongly suggests it was the rebels, not the Syrian government, that used Sarin nerve gas during a recent incident in the revolution-wracked nation, a senior U.N. diplomat said Monday.

Carla del Ponte, a member of the U.N. Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria, told Swiss TV there were “strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof,” that rebels seeking to oust Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad had used the nerve agent.

But she said her panel had not yet seen any evidence of Syrian government forces using chemical weapons, according to the BBC, but she added that more investigation was needed.

This statement by the UN official is more credible,
Assad is no fool letting in the UN inspectors and use chemical weapons at the same time.
It's another backfire again against trhe rebels and now the US is posturing to finish off Assad,
I think much better than delegating the dirty job towards the Al-Qaeda, they already made a lot of mess out there,
even innocent children now became a part of the Al-Qaeda's recipe, and they do have such a voracious appetite for that.

Syria would be the next Rwanda on my opinion.

Able governments with military capability to end the conflict immediately and limit civilian casualties refuse to help. ANd UN is playing Deaf and blind, just like the Rwanda Genocide.

Again intervention wont solve the deaths or the conflict. Do you really think that the west really cares about civilians? what they care are their own interest. Their foreign policies = national interest. Tell me what they can gain in intervening in Rwanda? Compare that to the Arab counties which they bombed a lot under the name of democracy if the dictator wont work for them

If syrians want to decide for themselves they would stick with Assad and Russia. All of these never happened until the US, UK, Israel, and Qatar wanted to remove Russian influence because they had economic interests. That naval facility in Tartus is proof that syrians are comfortable being with Russia.

Actually the real target of this is Iran. Orchestrated by the gulf countries lead by Saudi Arabia with Israel.

Saudi Arabia is scared too much against the rising power of the Shiite Crescent - lead by Iran with Iraq, Syria & Hezbollah (Lebanon).

Iran is the ultimate goal since it is the most powerful in the region. All roads lead to Iran. However in this case Quatar has been funding the rebellion for 3 years because it wants to provide oil/nat gas to EU instead of syria/Russia. Israel also wants to exploit the occupied territories in the golan heights by extracting its energy reserves.

Yes correct, that was the interest of Qatar back then when they rule the opposition (Muslim Brotherhood) which I think a long shot.
