i understand the sentiment nga daghan na kaayo attempt to initiate a change in how things are going to our country but it keeps coming up short & fail.

put it this way. if all pinoys have that very same mentality bitaw, do you think people power 1 would have happened at all?

i mean just look at the odds during that time. walay FB or istorya.net to spread the word. all they had were radio broadcasts niya dili pa jud kasaligan kay controlled ni marcos most if not all the radio stations.

but what happened? people power 1 happened. people marched to the streets & marcos' regime was toppled down.

mura ta gud ni ug boxing. if ma-knockout ka, does that mean inana nalang? papildi nalang?

i think it would also be an injustice to those who fought for our freedom during people power 1 niya magpabaya nalang bitaw ang mga tao karon kay abi tanaw nila impossible or wala ra japon resulta.

if this won't work, then we'll do another one, & another one hangtod matuman ang ato gusto because democracy mn kaha ta? naa mn kaha power ang mga citizens who voted those buttmunches to office in the first place?

let us not have a provincial mentality bitaw nga unsa ato buhaton kita ra nakabalo. don't think for one second nga all that is happening here dili mahibawan sa mga silingan nato nga mga nasod.

let's just say nga ni-push through jud ni ang rally or physical manifesto of our disgust & anger at the corruption in our country. then the administration just went ahead as if nothing happened or wala jud matuman ang mga gusto sa mga citizens.

do you think that will not affect the country diplomatically & more importantly financially? remember, foreign investments play a major role in the economy of our country.

aw if tanaw ninyo na pildi na, that's entirely up to you if mo-quit namo but for those who are strong, naa jud baruganan or principle & fighting spirit, abante ta & padayon nato depensahan ang freedom nga gihatag sa mga naguna pa nato.

ang current system sa PDAF karon kay ang president maghatag sa budget sa VP, senators & congressmen to better implement projects to their respective areas.

this for me is a very big question mark na. does it really have to be that way? abi nako ang trabaho sa mga senators & congress are to make laws? why were they given any money at all in the first place?

because of a simple pretext nga para masdali KUNO ma-implement ang mga project ug matabangan ang mga tao in their respective areas but as we all know, this is not the case.

ang dapat ani, naa ra jud one governing body or agency nga tigallocate sa national budget.

but personally, what i really like to happen is usbon ang form of government nato kay ang current system nato, kita tanan sa pinas magagad ra sa manila. magcollect ta ug tax diri sa cebu niya sinsilyo ra ang madawat bitaw nato.

so going back to what i said, ang gusto nako is usbon ang form of government to pure federalism. just like sa USA. where ang tax money will just be dedicated to each state or province then the executive body, that's the president will only get a certain percentage of the national tax income.

tax income should include withholding tax, VAT, mortgage tax, or unsa pa na nga tax that is implemented sa pinas.

that way, masdali ang distribution sa kwarta & masdali ma-implement ang mga projects per region. i would also like to abolish the house of congress.

unsa mn jud gamit ani nila? i mean look at the state of our country. is it working? i prefer senate ra naa nato, and more importanlty, dili na sila magdawat ug any form of budget, national or otherwise.

ila ra jud trabaho is to implement national laws, that's it.

if mahitabo ni tanan, syaro dili mo asenso ato nasod ba. i mean just look at the potential of cebu lang alone. daku kaayo ta ug tax remittance. if wala ko masayop, during 2010 masdaku pa ta na-remit kaysa sa makati & they are considered as the business hub of our country.

i would also like to see a more de-centalized documentation process in our country like if magkuha ka ug birth certificate or pa-red ribbon sa mga important documents bitaw kay tanawa ra gud ato systema karon, TANAN mo-agi pa jud ug manila.

madugay & mosamot na kadaku ang gasto sa mga tao bitaw. well anyways, that's a different topic. if mopadayon pako, wala na ganahan mobasa kay taas na kayo but i hope i was able to answer your question.

atong ginikanan or katiguwangan, nag-hope ug maayo after sa people power...as it turned out, pinas has become PARTLY owned by the family who won...and the cronies...no better than that of the regime it toppled...

what's THE WORST PART IS...we're not seeing MAJOR improvements in general...

back then, we're seeing 1 PERSON got rich from corruption...now, ALMOST ALL the people in the government...

it would be great if companies would help out...otherwise, this would mean joblessness on who will ask the HR not to deduct taxes...
