FYI, Octane has low total power output than ATP3 that has higher total power output with low down firing subwoofer. ATP3 is slightly better than VS4121 model. To compare layo ra kaayo na ang OCTANE sa ATP3 and VS4121.

Octane new Altec version is one of the worst multimedia 2.1 desktop speakers in their model. Bati na ron ang altec bai kaysa una na version. Try Creative kay daghan pud silay maayo na product pero kasagaran ang ilang maayo kay 5.1 and 7.1

Been using ATP3 before and currently using VS4121 so far ok kaayo iyang quality nindot jud cya compare to any other brand pwera lang sa BOSE ha kay grabe kamahal ang BOSE for desktop 2.1 pero di pud ka mag mahay sa ka nindot.

ATP3: The design is nice and the speakers are very good.
Octane: Bati if you compare, pero wala naman baligya ATP3 brandnew so settle nalang for this or other 2.1 models/brands.

Altec Lansing is a very reputable company mas ngilngig pani sila sa bose unya mas karaan na sad, cla ra ne sa jbl ug Harman Kardon way back 1970's nag split lang cla. The octane 7 model i agree mao pina ka bati nila na model but not to the extent nah bati najud kaau, if maka match ka ug maau na sound card sa octane 7 mulutaw sad jud ang iya kanindot sa iya sound especially sa bass nya. Wer as ang atp model is nindut najud xa daan a little adjustment nalang sa equalizer and your done. Ang price pud is bang for the buck jud compared sa bose, di lang au cla mu himu ug high end jud na models compared sa harman kardon, JBL, Focal, Bose etc....

haha maypa mg creative ka bro or mangita ka 2nd hand nlng na VS4121 kai kani sad akong gamit sa among probinsya wla jud kalupig ang bago nga octane 7 sa silingan haha
