This is the Radiator Fan you would want to have.. one direction ang iyang flow sa air.. so m.go through rah cya sa imong rad, rather than magbangga2 ang air sa iyang fins..

based on local supply, the easiest to get nga fan for that application is the Silverstone AP121 SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd.- AP121

higher RPM nah xa, then better SP pero lower CFM, although CFM is needed, pero for SP fans, this does not carry much weight for radiator fans..

nindot pud ang enermax tb vegas, much better than the ap and probably cheaper

    @ bro sempron,

dili na apple-to-apple comparison bro... lain2x na'g CPU... dili nato na sila ma compare... ang atoang ma compare, once gamitan ug lain fan ang rads para apple-to-apple comparison... had ordered a dual Cooler Master 2K rpm chassis fan... atoa ni gamiton for the apple-to-apple comparison... need pud nko man ni sa entertainment rig as chassis exhaust. ilisan nko ang current exhaust fans nya na 1K rpm lang...

ang purpose nko ana kay akoang gi share ang performance anang PC Cooler cooling system na gamit nko. nag mention man gud ug PC Cooler cooling system pud... pwerte ra ka barato ana nila. no idea ko if pila na dha sa Pinas but, i assumed na kun naa, barato lang gihapon but, people will not buy it 'coz most would prefer the known brands... and are eager to spend their money on the purchase... sa mga nag daginot mode, option ni nila ang offering sa PC Cooler...

deepcool is already doing a good job ana nga department diri sa pinas, and wala puy pccooler diri except sa ginagmay nga case fans in short pangitaon. Murag mao man gud na imo gi-imply since imo gi lay out ang tulo ka data sa tulo ka diff. coolers. Anyway I'll look forward sa imo result kay curious pud ko. Back on topic na ta kay basin ma latusan ta diri hehe

naka basa ko on one of the discussions diri, na wla na kuno'g stocks ang Antec Khuler H2O 920 dha sa Pinas... how about this time, naa na'y stocks?

as promised, here's the actual temperature performance comparison on the fans...

    > 2 x Corsair SP120 High Performance Edition (@ 2,350 rpm)... price at 693 php equivalent per fan (99 rmb per fan). designed for radiators... airflow (62.74 cfm)... static pressure @ 12V (3.1 mmH20)

    > 2 x Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 (@ 2,000 rpm)... price at 273 php equivalent per fan (39 rmb per fan). designed for chassis fan... airflow (69.69 cfm)... static pressure @ 12V (2.94 mmH20)

    > Test methodology:
    * Set room temp to 22 Deg C... if i'm here at home, my normal airconditioning system is "always" set at 16 Deg C... hahaha... i'm an eskimo and not a filipino... hehehe... tuwingwingwing... bitaw, init ang lawas kay tambok man... hehehehe
    * Run Folding at Home's project "6098" for both testing... CPU is on full load.
    * Run the test for 6 hrs per fan combination.
    * Waited for 30 mins to cool down the CPU before changing the fan combination for the next testing.
    * Used HW Monitor software and capture the CPU temp after 6 hrs of operation.

here's the image of the aircon temp..

here's a shot on the CM SickleFlow in action... wala lang nako gi kuha-an ang Corsair SP120 ug action pics ha...

here's the captured temp after 6 hrs on the dual Corsair SP120 in "push-pull" config...

here's the captured temp after 6 hrs on the dual Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 in "push-pull" config...

Note: don't include the low temp readings for comparison though. let us just focus on the current and max readings for comparison.

    Result:

    > for me, its a "DRAW"... the difference at current temp and max temp are negligible. its just 1 Deg C... but, our pocket can feel the price difference...

    > i had provided you a hard evidence. for me, this case is now CLOSED!... it's your decision now on what fan you'll decide to purchase... are you after for the "Bling", are you after for the "Brand" or are you after for the "Price to Performance Ratio"... it's your choice... it's up to you to decide on what poison you'll take... yay...

It would always be better that we should listen to our pocket... double check our budget and relate it to the "Price to Performance Ratio"... then decide on the purchase...

it just means your procie is not giving enough "heat" for test. imba na ang cooler daan for it(not to mention 22deg room temp?)

here's a chart showing both your fans in action and more.

got curious about the cm sickleflow and it's insanely high static pressure for the price. Browsing at tech sites I saw this

I was baffled by the huge difference from anand's results sa imong results. Sure if it's around 5degrees however anand's poses an almost 30c difference vs sp120. Could it be na ang thickness sa rad sa H50 nga imo gamit vs the H80i obviously thicker rad ang factor sa huge difference? I'm thinking tungod sa nipis nga rad di na mu matter unsa nga fan gamiton hence the almost zero difference sa fan being compaired. Nasulayan nimo ug single fan set-up sir? Kay ang testing methodology sa anand on the sickeflow kay single fan lang. Duda nako tungod sa push and pull mao na ni close ang gap sa duha ka fan nga gikumpara.

we can not compare both test on an apple-to-apple basis (mine and Anand's)... lain2x ni sila resulta kay lain2x ug set-up ug lain2x ug test methodology... maka kuha ta'g idea sa net gyud kay that's their job. i just shared mine from an ordinary user's perspective... pareho ra ko's set-up sa daghan diri... maong, share ko's actual nko na nakuha...

for the thickness of the rads, mo mater gyud na sila. mas baga, mas better... daghan man coolant sa sulod...

for my room temp, i just use 22 since it is the temp na akoang gi set diri. its summer here in shanghai... sa gawas, 40+ Deg C ang temp... init ang 25 Deg C sa sulod gani... wla ra ko mag hassle sa akoang kaugalingon para sa pag test ani at 25 Deg C room temp...

had just used the push-pull config bro sempron... para kaisa ra ug test...

ugma, unya diay (kadlawon naman ron), if naa time, padagan ta'g Prime95 ani... then set nko ang room temp at 25 Deg C... check nato and difference sa results...
