    Default B.A English or Linguistics?

Guys, can you help me choose between these two courses.

I want to enroll in USC-TC. I like B.A English, pero dili man available sa TC. Linguistics ra ilaha.

What are their differences and which one is better?

Also, nice ba ang USC for Education or much better sa Normal or CTU?

AB English used to be one of the undergrad courses in Main 90s til 2000, I think.
When I took Literature units back in 2004, it has already become, AB Linguistics
and Literature to give balance to literary and communication skills of the program.

If you are inclined to these two disciplines, then USC-TC is for you because they
offer comprehensive courses to enrich your love for the literary form and English
as a basic communication tool. If I'm not mistaken, USC-Main is no longer the hub
for College of Arts and Sciences since they are now focusing on Law and Business.

So it's an advantage for you TS that the department already transferred to TC.

As for Education, Cebu Normal University is hands down a good training ground
for future teachers. Most schools would prioritize graduates from this school basing
from their track record ~ just what I've observed from my former colleagues.

Thanks, Beyee. That's what I thought so too. CNU is indeed the perfect ground for Education courses. I think I'd go for USC-TC for my Linguistics study. By any chance, do you have any idea how much would their tuition be?

The best answer I can give you for your tuition fee is the Acctg Office which is at the 2nd floor
of the Engineering Bldg (the facade bldg) then might as well ask for the requirements from
the DOLL (Department of Linguistics and Literature) office.

I'm sure it will be convenient for you since you live in Talamban
