Cebu lang TS ang 6k nimo plete2x ug kaon ra na. Graba kataas ang cost of living didto. Ari nalang ka at least duol ka sa imo pamilya ug friends. At least pud naa mu-laba ug luto nimo.

the status of living in manila is quite high. if you plan to relocate and rent a place there might as well forget the idea. even if patas-an imo sweldo TS ang imong gasto sa manila would be far greater than what would you be earning here. but some of the istoryans are right though. if you have a place to stay there and you don't have to pay for a house or apartment then might consider it an option. but it doesn't mean na mas gamay gihapon imo gastoon diri compare didto. best thing to do is make an accounting first. weigh in all your expences versus your earnings and balance the books. if mas gamay imo gasto didto then by all means give it a go. but if mas dako jud then better turn down the offer. plus ingon paka your earnings usually goes to your family. consider that too. basin unya in the long run you'll be left with nothing for yourself. goodluck ts

Ts. If naa sa mood imo manager or ur boss, try to ask for a higher increase then cite ur reasons why 6k is not enough in manila or they.ll provide u an accomodation ++. (if they really need u there. Or this is for ur career growth or away from ur family's stress...)
btw, mahal ang pagkaon didto.. Even fastfood's prices are not the same in cebu...

congrats sa promotion sir! the feeling is really uplifting when promoted. IMO, stay in cebu if possible. been to manila too. 6k increase is too small to be relocated. then away pd ka sa pamilya. would you risk the 6k to be away from the family? its up to u though. if bigger cgro and increase and worth staying there then why not. anyway, u can find an increase of 6k monthly here sa cebu. and i thnk more pa.
