    CPU:Intel Core i5-4670k -----
CPU Cooler:Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 45.0 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI ------
    Memory:Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
    Storage:Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card:Club 3D Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB Video Card
Case:Cooler Master Force 500 ATX Mid Tower Case
    Power Supply:SeaSonic 520W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
    Optical Drive:Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer

more or less 2000 pesos more.. plus the benefit of the newer socket 1150, which COULD (could lang) open up upgrade options for newer processors in the pipeline.

Imong Case is ATX while your motherboard is Mini ITX. Also medyo karaan na ang Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro... There are lots of CPU coolers nga better.

Akong build is very similar :
    CPU : i5 3570K OC @ 4.5ghz - 10,500
    CPU Cooler : Corsair H60 - 3,500
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77N-Wifi - 5,500
    Memory : Kingston HyperX DDR3 1600 16gb (2X8GB) 3200 per module, 6400
    Storage : Western Digital RED 3TB - 4500
    SSD : Corsair Force GS 128GB - 5000
    Case : Bitfenix Prodigy - 3500
    PSU : Silverstone Strider Plus 600W - 4600
Optical Drive : Samsung katong pinakabarato - 800
Graphics Card : Wala pa (waiting for GTX770) - 20000

So far, Its doing pretty well.

I'm actually still considering i5 4670K + GA Z87N wifi for my second build pero ang difference sa price naa sa 3K++ and considering how on that motherboard you can only go to 4.1ghz, mas kusog ang Ivy Bridge.

My goodness please lang, stop suggesting Z77 board sa TS. dili man kaha xa mag Overclock.

TS: If wala jud kay plano magoverclock, no need for a K processor, ayaw nasad anang Z77. H77N Wifi mas barato. Sa imong gipangmention nga Game titles, maski pag GTX 650 ti boost mas cheaper pero grabe nana ka sobra!
Kung buot huna hunaon pde ra gani stock cooler imo gamiton no need for third party cooler since dili man kaha ka magoverclock.

Anyways, suggestions lang mana, naa rana nimo decision.

i think the thread title says 2013 and further specs, so the better gpu he/she can afford the bigger chance it will perform better. also K/Z77 might be good sa iya, incase mu venture sya into overclocking in a near future. although i suggest dropping that cooler...

@TS i would suggest to venture on i5 haswell build, and disregard any "ivy" comparisons.

    IMHO

yup.. i dont see why haswell/1150 wont be a better choice for a NEW build. if budget is the concern, you can build a haswell based system for just about the same price as your original set of choices with the ivy bridge by dropping your mobo choice down to an h87 or b85 chipset, and look at a non-k series processor, then you are all set.

(based on TS' post) i think 650ti boost isnt an outdated card, it can even handle crysis 3 (graphic-heavy) pretty well. TS clearly posted she isnt overclocking so Z77/K should be ruled out.

haswell is ok, if ato basehan sa iya post, gusto xag mini itx with wifi. now (haswell) H87N-WIFI costs 8.2k while Ivy's H77N-WIFI only cost 4K+. dakog difference pero paraeho rag mabuhat. Even thou hapit na ma-stop ang Ivy, it doesnt mean di na mulahotay ang IVY rig for the next couple of years. IMHO

++1.. no reason for upgrade. (unless mu daog kog 10 million ka piso.) -- personally. since i already own an ivy based system.
