but i like the idea of creating a grievance committee nga ang sole responsibility is to cater the needs of the two parties

ang nindot unta i-apil sa kani nga balaod is to make it compulsory that ALL unused sick leaves be convertible to cash kay mao nay kasagaran abusahan sa mga employers
agree ko ani nimo, nga mahimong compulsory ang tanang unused sick leave nya mas maayo nga tax free pud cya.

Apparently unions are always leftist. If in the case here in the philippines those unions will greatly bolster the operations of the CPP/NPA.

The problem here is not the industry itself, rather the cost of doing business here is forcing employers to squeeze out every ounce of energy and talent of their employees. You have to consider the costs of taxes, electricity, old equipment from utilities, plus these socialist/leftist provisions that are obviously lopsided then you have a longterm plan for company suicide.

From the looks of things we are a mixture of liberal and conservative views, being that businesses that are favored by the government because of connections, etc are given liberal treatment when dealing with their operations whereas the businesses that do not have influence at all are given stricter policies and guidelines to play with.

If you think about it this is a case of favoritism once again. Call centers can do better if it were not for the lousy infrastructure and the exorbitant operational costs. Heck higher pay than the standard would make these call center workers shut up and a flexible working schedule can be accommodated and on top of that the companies and diversify more job offerings besides the measly call center agent since the operational costs are low and profit is maximized.

lisod if mag require ka nga i.mandatory nga i.convert to cash ang mga sick leaves.. lets remember under the labor code ang mandatory nga leaves kay 5 ra baya gyud (regardless if sick, vacation, personal leave of course aside from the other types of leaves like solo parent, maternity, etc).. so if ever mag.ingani.. maybe employers would reduce the number of leaves that they'd give their employees..

di sad kaayo ko ug union.. i think it'll just bring more politics and i like things plain and simple.

ayaw lang sad ug ingon uy nga maayo unta ug wa call center kay lots of people have jobs because of this industry baya.. i wish what the government would do instead is to create other jobs and dili sila magsalig sa call center. ang nahitabo naman hinu.on karon kay murag ni accept na sila sa mga call centers w/o looking at other long term (not to mention better) solutions sa atong unemployment.

OT: okay ra sad ko ani.. though para nako di man sad cguro kaayo necessary kay we have laws naman sad that can apply sa industry
