I'd agree for other benefits, not the Union. It'll narrow down invesment interest from Clients and Outsourcers. "Labor Union" is a feared word for corporates.

it's because you weren't affected by then and it's probably the influence of what you hear from others back them. so don't be too hard on yourself. it's a good thing you got your eyes opened.

siguro dili nalang labor union. magrequire nalang unta og kanang murag grievance committee for every BPO location. kanang committee na independent/neutral that will pursue both interests sa employee og company. Usahay man gud companies tend to be ambitiously blind in reaching goals and objectives and come up with unfair policies. Dili gud kalikayan, they'll explore and exploit certain weaknesses sa ato labor code. usahay baga nalang gud kaayog mga lips na totally they'll disregard our laws for sake of their own interests.

I would agree having a grievance committee instead of a labor union. The latter would just end up opening another can of worms.

haha. Good luck na lang anang labor union. Wala man gani labor union ang kasagaran American companies diha sa Mepza nga dili call centers ug dugay na diri sa Pinas. kani pa kaha nga bag-o lang? haha

but i like the idea of creating a grievance committee nga ang sole responsibility is to cater the needs of the two parties

ang nindot unta i-apil sa kani nga balaod is to make it compulsory that ALL unused sick leaves be convertible to cash kay mao nay kasagaran abusahan sa mga employers
