    Default Honda D15 or PH12 ?

    Hi Everyone,

Naa ko question/clarification and willing to hear comments and suggestions about the situation of my Honda Civic 95 A/T. Akoa man gipailisan ang Engine Block from D15 into a PH12. w/ a new gasket, belt and pulley (all original)

    So mao ako gipailisan.

Karon miingon xa nga pwede nako ibaligya ang D15 for a reasonable price.
    Questions are:

Unsaon pamaagi ani and how much magasto?
    2. Which is better sa 2 Engines that I have? Pros and Cons (Fuel Consumption vs Power/Speed) ?
    3. If naa interested with the D15 we may transact.

    Thank you daan Istoryans.

pwede na nimo i part out ang sulod sa block bro. like piston, conrod, crankshaft. then ibilin nalnag ang block nimo.

Question no. 2 ra ako ma contribute ani boss. PH12 is the lowest end engine for the EG series. It is a downgrade and you will be sacrificing a lot of horsepower (at least 30hp) as compared to the previous engine. I don't know sa fuel consumption but IMHO I think you will be consuming more in gas kay ma overwork ang imo engine compared to the engine before the swap.

I agree it's better to get higher than lower. So in your case dapat D15 gihapon imong gitaod or any other SOHC engine nga mo sakar sa imo engine as long as dli dako og trabahoon.

I researched bitaw na low end ang PH12 from the local stock hatchback. Converted/Surplus man gud akong unit. As for the 2nd opinion in regards with Fuel efficiency ako gicompare for the past few weeks. Ang D15 runs at 5-7km/L lang compared with the PH12 now runs at 7-10 km/L. I'm not quite sure if sakto pud ko. But thanks for the comment boss.

Anyway as long as you are happy with how its running...

originally your engine is D15(both block and head)?nya naay guba ang suggestion saimong mekaniko ky ilisan ug PH12 nga block?
and D15 nimo is Dual carb type or EFI?.. mas mau unta to nangita ka sa surplusan ug D15.. or imo nlang ipa machine shop

if sakto ko basi sa imong description A/T nga Civic.. its honda EG nga surplus dba? dual carb.. most A/T ky dual carb.. ang EFI ky Manual..pwde rmnka kita anang block sa D15 sa mga surplusan...

used to own EG4 (honda hatch) D15 EFI... if properly tuned.. it can get 1:12-13.. if highway pwede 1:16.. g testingan dydna nko using high octane fuel..kusog sd cya mo dagan..

Yes, D15 Block. Dual Carb. The cam shaft is damaged, ako pang ukbonon to see how heavy the damage/s is/are. Already bought and installed the PH12. I guess I'll stick with this for the mean time.
