MILLIONS of Egyptians have flooded the streets determined to oust Islamist President Mohamed Morsi on the anniversary of his turbulent first year in power, in the biggest protests Egypt has seen since the 2011 revolt.

If we all remember, 2 years ago, there was a revolution in Egypt against the US puppet regime of dictator Mubarak.

Then The US abandoned Mubarak and Obama placed all his bets on the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.

More people now around world realized the US hypocrisy.

They want him to resign and call for an election. Yup he was elected but the state of Egypt right now is worst than Mubarak.


The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces late on Tuesday made clear that it would stick to an ultimatum it gave to Morsi on Monday, urging the embattled president to respond to a wave of mass protests within 48 hours, or face an intervention that would effectively subsume his government.

I think Obama just played with the politicking offered by the muslim brotherhood,
the creed of such a group is not so different with other muslim fundamentalist.
I could see Obama now is quite playful with the middle east politics,
I think much better than committing US soldiers in the battlefield of that chaotic
part of the world. He would just make friends to some groups give them arms,let them do the dirty
job and watch the event as it unfolds,

The arab spring is now backfiring on the US and NATO. The reason why the US wants to establish a strong islamist fundmentalist state that they can control is that these nations are not completely aligned with israel, hence are still considered a threat even after the 1948 arab-israeli war.

In syria it the freedom fighters supported by the US with weapons and equipment have been losing ground to the government forces. Even the US stepped in to warn Russia not to send additional military equipment to aid syria but was blatantly ignored by the russians as russia as a naval base in Syria and she needs those equipment for the protection of the naval base.

Right now the US may resort to arming the rebels with chemical weapons to be used against the civilian population and put the blame on Assad claiming that Assad is now using chemical weapons against his own people and rally international pressure against syria.

now, they are given, i think less than 24 hours to vacate the Tarir square or the military will force them to leave... we'll see if what will happen tomorrow...

OT: after Mobarak was imprisoned, my co-worker says that their Oil & Gas production lessened bec of a leak...(coincidence?)
now, car owners are suffering from long queues bec of unavailability of petrol...
