    Default which is more harder?

    In general aspect of life.

Which is more harder to surrender/give up hope or to hold on with hope even though you already knew the answer.

sometimes hope is ironic, it gives us direction in life also it give us the frustration of waiting for it to happen...

but if you want specific sample:

    1. You have a reoccurring tumor no matter how many times you remove it - it will go grow again and every time it reoccur it is more deadly and you just started you're career, family and friends. achieving your dreams.

    2. you got married and both of you, husband and wife can't conceived a child kay naa moy problem. maski gi unsa na nnyo para lang maka anak

    3. na accuse ka ug something then maski innocent ka, ang tanan evidence kay ikaw ang ma accuse ug suspect maski dili ikaw ang naka sala. then na priso ka sa dili imong sala maski unsa on nmo pag fight ikaw ang na pasanginlan.

    4. naa kay uyab for a long time cya imong 1st uyab and ultimate crush, the suddenly naka buwag mo kay wa nay claro inyong relationship. then when nahan naka makig balik di na cya nahan makig balik. cya naka move on na naa nay new relationship and kbaw ka malipayon cya sa iyang new relationship. but still you love that person.

For me, it would depend on the situation. Can you give us a specific scenario with more details so we can weight things right?

I agree with this. If you know the answer and still hope for something that WE ALL KNOW IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN, that is more painful and harder to give up than not knowing what is unknown. Why? Sometimes, when we know we are about to die, we tend to prove things wrong. We want to keep believing that we still have a chance -Even if we know it's not happening at all.

this hardships spices up your life that makes life unfair and sweet when we succeed. This hardships makes us to defy ourselves and strive more. It all boils down to the decisions we create in the first place. Yes life is unfair that's the reality of it. It's all about moving on and embracing the challenges that would mold us to be a better and strong person.

that's why hope was included in pandora's box (greek mythology). coz sometimes it gives a false sense of assurance

No, I definitely am not saying you give up and raise your white banners. The question here is "Which one is harder to give up?" isn't it?

    My answer?

It is harder to give up the fight when we do not know if we have a change to win what we are fighting for.

Example: When you know you're dying in years time. Do you say -oh I'll die in a year? Thanks Jesus, I still have 11 months more to enjoy myself. No, you will probably ask three times or even more -if the findings were true.

I said it is easier to give up a fight when you do not know what you will get from it. Who will fight for something if you do not know what you can gain from it, do you? Yet, if you know that not fighting means death -or even fighting means death -you would still want a try, least you die fighting.

I hope that answered your question.
