i sense this discussion will soon go down the drain kay it feels like its starting to become govt/politics vs church/theo-politics.....

we should also be reminded that we are not theocratic country... wala ray mapili both the govt and church... it all boils down whos running the show...

i dont think the 10% tithes in other religion or those " fees " for wedding, funeral, baptism and other "services" are hardly donations.

Id like to see statistical data kung unsa ka efficient ang govt vs. the church with regards to pila ka percent of the money given to them actually goes back to the people.

FYI: kanang tithes bro mao na ilang bread and butter for them to support their financial or whatsoever needs sa ilang church so as the roman catholic church which is ang donation..ang naka pait lang sa roman catholic church wala silay transparency same as our govt..pero mas makalagot lang paminawn kay mostly ang mga hinago.an sa tao gpang hurot lang ug kurakot..kita pwerting hago ug trabaho unya sila pwerting lipay2 sa kwartang ilang g.gasto nga atong gpatu.an ug singot unya malipay ka ana??well for me malipay naman ko maski maka donate ko sa church bahalag unsaon na nila basta im doing it for GOD.

Dili ba same ra bro... kung church donation... ur doing it for love of ur God... kung sa government nga taxes, ur doing it for love of country or at least as a duty to ur country....

Kanang... "bahalag unsaon nila (ang kwarta)" maoy scary nga part sa imong statement kay ngano mu sugot ra man ka basta ang religion mu kurakot unya lagot ka sa govt nga corrupt... does being religious give these people the authority to be corrupt... usa pa kay the church is preaching all these good things.. shouldn't they be held to a higher standard? Kung sa baga,... mao gud ni ilang puhonan...

Taxes for Govt is Para sa ATU-a, Para mubalik sa atua. Remember the Phrase By the People, For the People. mao nay Diperensya sa Tax compare sa halad sa Simbahan.

Donations? since you gave it its Not your own. When you give to the church is because of Love and Trust. Its because nakadawat kag Grasya mao imu gibalik sa Dios ang Kwarta Hoping and Trusting the church nga ila nang itabang sa uban. But in reality, its Not you who own it na kay imu nman ghatag. The idea of Giving to the Church is Not because Para naa kay madawat or naa kay Bugti, You give because Nakadawat kag grasya nya igo raka nibalos and its the right thing to do.

Sa Tax its different because the Govt Set or require Us to Pay certain amount because of Promises that they will Give us Services in exchange of the Amount we pay. Its more like - Pay us so that we will serve you, Pay us and we will return it to you.

So lahi ra kaayu ug concept.

Ug sakto ka nga naay ga negosyo sa simbahan pero Dili tanan.
