Source: PMA wants ban on e-cigarettes | ABS-CBN NewsMANILA - Are e-cigarettes a 'gateway' to regular cigarettes? The president of the Philippine Medical Association said he is backing a ban or regulation on the sale of e-cigarettes in the country, saying many young people are enticed by it.
PMA president Leo Olarte said e-cigarettes still contain nicotine which is addictive. He said smoking e-cigarettes could entice young people to switch to regular cigarettes.
He warned that smoking could increase blood pressure, affect the heart and lead to chronic obstructive lung disease.
"We want it banned because walang maidulot na maganda ito...Akala nila OK. It's in. Bibili sila ngayon e walang regulasyon nito o prohibition. Kung hindi ito maipagbawal, dapat i-regulate or i-restrict and lump it together with regular cigarettes," he said.
Ngano ang e-cigarettes i-ban? Dili pwede ang sigarilyo nalang jud itself ang iyang ipa ban?

does e cigarettes have an effect to 2nd hand smoker? i don't smoke but i prefer e cigarettes kay walay baho. so if naay angay e ban, ang cigarette jud cguro mismo

Pointless man kung i ban kung iya basihan "na walang maidulot na maganda" kay pareho ra man sa tinood nga sigarilyo (walang maidulot na maganda)..Both of which kay tinoyuan man..

Kung maghisgot ug ban, ngano dili man ang sigarilyo mismo? Maka badtrip kaayo ang mga PUJ/Bus driver sila nagbutang ug NO SMOKING pero pwerting kusoga mo buga ug aso lupig pa ang panghaw sa LUDO. Kung badlongon sa pasahero, mao pa hinoon masuko kay ngano magbuot ang mga pasahero tsk!

I strongly agree on this. Ngano pa man jud nga gi create ni nga we are all aware what are the disadvantages of this thing to our health.
