dli jud ko happy sa ila service.
1. dugay au nataod. almost 2 weeks.
2. hinay kaau ang internet.
3. nitawag nko sa ako complain(thurs), gibuhatan na dw ug report pero wla pa action karon.

wla problema sa ila line.. >,<
ok ang speedtest KUNG sa ila server then dli sila sugot speedtest lain server..
mao to nanawag jud ko sa customer support nila sa manila ky bisag ok ang speedtest, ig DL nkog file, grabe 8KB/s ra..
pero pag-abot mga 12 ni-pas2x na ug DL.. basin naa sila giconfigure sa ila server.
need pa nko test karon ig-uli nko after duty kung ok ba jud..

bayantel's way of telling not to speedtest outside from their server is STUPID.. the internet is not all about their server! websites are hosted from different MANY servers around the globe...

when doing speedtests test the following:
singtel.com (australia)
att.com (usa)
hawkhost.com (usa)
hostgator.com (usa)
pldt.com.ph (PH)
globelines.com.ph (PH)
tipidpc.com
youtube.com
istorya.net (USA)
google.com
yahoo.com
lycos.com

--- if generally you have good pings and latency for those servers, you have a reliable connection, otherwise! report to bayantel -----

etc. do as much test as you can, in most cases okay inyong ping and speedtest sa bayantel servers (of course because you are within bayantel's private network) pero if sa lahi na nga bahin, putol2x or hinay, mao na hinay pod inyong web browsing experience and downloads if you do.

Guys please be reminded that DSL is a shared bandwidth. It is not committed unlike leased lines. Also, it is correct that you perform Speedtest going to Bayantel server as other servers traverse outside Bayan's network giving you more hops and higher latency. Speedtest performed outside a Telco's server is inaccurate.

Always, perform your Speedtest under Quezon City/Bayantel server to get an accurate result.
