Pope Pius XII didn't ever publicly mentioned the Jews, the gas chambers nor the Final Solution in clear terms. The best he said was this address to a College of Cardinals on 2 June 1943: He expressed compassion to "those who have turned an anxiously imploring eye to us, tormented as they are, for reasons of their nationality or descent, by major misfortunes and by more acute and grave suffering, and destined sometimes, even without guilt on their part, to exterminatory measures." Again, no mention of the Jews, the gas chambers nor the Final Solution. It's not even a statement of condemnation.

I'm not disagreeing about the fact he saved thousands of Jews inside Vatican City. What I'm pointing out is the lack of clear and strong statement condemning the Holocaust.

There are writers who would put forth in their books Pius XII's anti-semitic tendencies or they'd point out the fact that not a single Nazi soldier/officer was ever ex-communicated. But I wouldn't go that far. I'm just going to point out his silence during the Holocaust.
FALSE. Did the Church condemned Nazism? YES. Pope Pius XI issued the encyclical Mitt Brenner Sorge specifically CONDEMNING NAZISM.

What about Pope Pius XII? WAS HE SILENT?? NO. HE CONDEMNED specifically the "EXTERMINATION OF THE JEWS" on his Christmas Day message in 1944 that was broadcasted WORLDWIDE, including Germany.

The New York Times, under the headline “JEWS’ RIGHTS DEFENDED,” wrote on March 14, 1940: “The Pontiff, in the burning words he spoke to Herr Ribbentrop about religious persecution, also came to the defense of the Jews in Germany and Poland.

The Nazi was considered as a political party at the time and the church's reluctance to engage in partisan politics was the lowdown. but to assume that the Pope was completely silent on the issue of holocaust is pure B*LLSH!T. Ever wonder whose propaganda mechanism is this? Communist Russia. But that is another story.

Wasn't he the Pope who ransomed 60,000 Jews with 50 kilograms of gold?
Wasn't he the Pope who saved 80,000 Jews inside the Vatican and another 5,000 inside Castelgandolfo?
Wasn't he the Pope who ordered opening of convents, hospitals and monasteries throughout Italy to shelter a great number Jews?
Wasn't he the Pope who faked Catholic baptismal certificates for the Jews to avoid deportation?
Wasn't he the Pope who wrote a letter to the ruler of Hungary to STOP the deportation of 800,000 Hungarian Jews?
Wasn't he the Pope who arranged for the Jewish sanctuary in the Holy Land for the persecuted Jews in Muslim countries?
Wasn't he the Pope who saved Jerusalem against Turkish invasion and impending massacre of Jews in Israel?
Wasn't he the Pope who arranged for ships so that Jews can flee Europe and migrate to the US and elsewhere?

The Pope has his share of weaknesses, like every humans do. But take note that he has done A LOT when compared the world leaders of his day. The Pope saved a lot of people compared to the WHOLE British Empire and the USA combined.

    HAD HE DONE ENOUGH?

He has done enough to warrant the VOLUNTARY conversion of thousands of Jews to Catholicism, including the Chief Rabbi AFTER the War.
He has done enough to gain the friendship of hostile Jews like Albert Einstein and Golda Meir, among many others.

By the way, how many Jews did the Queen of England, (the Supreme Governor of the Church of England) saved? NADA.
They were SUPPORTERS of Nazism actually, especially King Edward VIII, the father of Elizabeth II and contemporary of Pope Pius XII.

BUT HOW COME NOBODY CRITICIZE THEM ??

How about the Protestant, Anglican, and Islamic leaders who were COLLABORATORS of the Jewish persecution?

Mohammad Amin al-Husayni -- Grand Mufti of Jerusalem
King Edward VIII -- Supreme Governor of the Church of England ("Pope" of the Anglican Church)
George Soros now being reinvented as a great philantrophist

FALSE. The Popes have OFFICIALLY condemned slavery as early as 1435 by Pope Eugene's encyclical Sicut Dudum. The Quakers OFFICIALLY condemned slavery in 1688, more than 2 CENTURIES apart.

    Eugene IV: Sicut Dudum, 1435
    Paul III: Sublimis Deus, 1537
    Gregory XVI: In Supremo, 1839

You always have to consider the circumstances.
    FALSE.

Is it OK then to persecute and murder HELPLESS human beings just because they were in the wrong womb at the wrong circumstances such as rape and incest?

Is it OK then to PERSECUTE and murder human beings because they were considered a USELESS race, like how the Nazis viewed the Jews?

If nobody is absolutely wrong, then your mother could have aborted you HAD you were a child of rape or incest. Isn't it a WONDERFUL idea?

The world could have been a better place had your mother made an "enlightened" choice of abortion. Don't you think? It is quite a tragedy that she adhered to the "backward" thinking of the Catholic Church. Think about that.

Yes, I have the right to be ANGRY at falsehoods, and everybody should be.

When you commented on this article, you have FORFEITED your immunity to criticism.

Does opening your mouth and selling a book about other's misfortune can bring about Justice to the victims? Hell, NO.

Unlike self - proclaimed Christians who cant even put on a good exposition on Christianity without CONDEMNING others.

Christians who like to live in condemnation. HOW CHRISTLIKE.

Nope this is a criminal case,
child abuse or rape, then whoever cuddles
could be considered as an accomplice or accessory of the crime,
and eventually both of them will go to jail.
are there any exemptions/Immunity of the men of cloth
against crime if committed, I think there is none.
