what I liked:
-the action and the fighting were all epic.
-almost all the actors nailed their characters right. Crowe stole every scene with him in it. Antje was brilliant as Faora. her fight with Kal was the best. both Cavill and Adams were amazing. Adams Lois is almost just as good as Durance Lois imo.
-Lois knowing about Clark's identity and keeping it a secret. I love all of the Lois and Clark moments in the movie, though I find it lacking.
-I love that they tried to give an explanation to everything.
-the music was absolutely fantastic. Zimmer may have outdone himself.
-great cinematography.
-ok plot.
-great entertainment value. will watch again and buy the Blue-Ray.

what I didn't like:
-pacing is terrible.
-not much character development for Superman. they could have cut out the spy drone gag and making the fights(especially the final battle) shorter for more character development. also I think having him write a journal about his travels and monologue it to the audience so we know his thoughts as he's making this journey of self discovery, and connect some bits of his past, would have been an excellent way to go about doing the first half of the movie which I thought was pretty weak.
-not enough Lois and Clark. as I said, I did love every time they were together on screen, but they could have done more with that. it wasn't enough and the "romance" felt forced.
-Superman fighting inside populated areas. I wondered how many innocents died during his fights in Smallville. he should have taken that fight out onto the fields. this isn't the same as the Avengers were the portal was literally above NYC and they can't take the fight away. Superman could have easily lured Faora, Zod and etc away from the town/city, but he didn't, and I was so disappointed at that. and it's because of that that the ending happened where he was forced to snap Zod's neck to save a bunch of civilians.

it's a good movie, way better than the Dark Knight Rises, and has better action and fight scenes than the Avengers/Marvel movies put together. but not as good as Batman Begins and Avengers. the Rotten Tomatoes rating is hilarious. MoS is getting a low rating because it's not Donner/Reeves Superman enough. some, if not most, of the critics are being blinded by nostalgia.

A more indepth story of kal-els kyrptionian origin. I never thought jor-el could kick some @$$.. The fight scenes with faora,big guy kryptonian and supes rocks.. And most all Lara-El is hot....I'm a superman fans since I was a kid, and this recent reboot rocks

Superman needs help from the Avengers. Hahaahha... There were too many casualties during the attack.. hehehe.. btw, Superman is an alien too so expected na kaya ra jud nya sya ra.. hehehe

I gave it 7/10.. Good movie but not great.. my expectation were too high due to Nolan

lol if they switched places, Superman would probably stop the Chitauri threat in the blink of an eye. the Avengers otoh will fail against Zod and the Kryptonians and the World Engine. Man of Steel is on a higher level of power than the Avengers/MCU.
