18 bad sectors, 2 weak sectors unsay angay buhaton?

Naa koy 500 gb HDD with the above report gamit ang HDSentinel: 18 bad sectors, 2 weak. Karon ko nakabantay kay natingala ko naay may application nga corrupted then ako g.adto ang folder sa application kay empty pero dili sad madelete. Mao akong gtry ot gamit ug HDsentinel. Mao to iyang result. Unsay angay buhaton ani? Angay na ni ilisan?

mo sakay ko bro ha, regarding rman pdni sa bad sector... duna bay software nga maka block ug bad sector? kahinumdom ko sa una, windows 98 pato, naa toy scan nga if naay bad sector iyang e block. naa paba ni karon?

as far as i know, if you format a hardisk with a bad sector, the OS will automatically mark that sector as a bad sector, thus likayan nah xa nga sector sa OS.. But if you plan to do this, prepare for boot failure.. since bad sectors dont really keep to themselves.. manakod nah xa..

if wa ka mag dali, backup data and move it to another drive, then run zero-fill or spinrite/hdd sentinel.. this may or may not remove bad/weak sectors(depende ra ni what causes the bad blocks in the 1st place), but kung nagkadaghan based on hdd sentinel's data, then consider replacing na jud, d na matabang na.

Thanks sa advice sir, pero dili lang ko motake sa risk.. ako nalang gyud ilisan naa sad bitaw koy extra diri nga HDD 500 gb sad kay importante kaau ni sa akong trabaho ning mga files sulod ani gud. patay atong dollars ani kung mawala ang files..hehe...

anyway follow up lang unsa marecommend ninyo nga software (if naay free mas maau) nga pang sync ug files nahan unta ko mag.automatic back up ang akong mga files. Like e.specify lang nimo kung unsa nga folder ang back up then automatic na siya everytime moboot mo check siya kung unsa mga files ang g.modify or bag.o then iyang e.sync. Thanks daan.

try hdd regenerator. i was able to revive a harddrive with bad sectors and working fine till now. pero kung mag kala2x na gani ang hd, wa na nay pag asa.
