First week in law school is what you call the "calm before the storm". Most of this time is spent by the professor in giving their respective course outline, explaining their grading system, what books and materials to read. Some professors might ask a student or two to stand in front and tell the rest of the class why they chose to go to law school.

If I were you I would spend this time by studying in advance, thus giving you a head start with respect to you subjects. Most major subjects use the same books, e.g., Persons and Family Law uses either the Sta. Maria or Dean Monteclar book; Constitutional Law uses the books of Fr. Bernas or Nachura. Criminal Law primarily uses the Reyes book. If you have some friends who also to goes to law school, you can borrow these books from them.

Good luck to all of you! I mean us!

My first day at law school kanina, NO CLASS!

Nag compute na ko mas dako akong magastos sa books kaysa tuition sa amo school.
