The LN2 was more likely for the 151mhz bclock (x14). If im not mistaken, ddr3 (or 32nm ram and below) dont scale well with high voltage unlike ddr2 and anything above 2.2v is a death sentence for ddr3 even with dry ice.
Below 2v is just my assumption though. Come to think of it, you might be right..
