You are trying to say that the use of the e-Card as Unionbank ATM card won't be available until GSIS gives the go signal? How long did it take you before your Unionbank ATM account was activated?

its a pity that GSIS is doing these to pensioners, at least they should show some compassion to these people. if you happen to visit gsis you will see pensioners nga nagwheelchair na, some gipang agak na kay maglisud na ug lakaw, there was even an instance that one pensioner nga gehatod pa ug ambulansiya kay masakiton na unya they came from the province. ok ra ko mulinya bisan tibuok adlaw pa kay kaya paman nako, pero kana intawn mga tiguwang luoy kaayo. akong mama nagpa update sa iyang record sa gsis kay gerequire nila, unsa man nuon hitaboa gehunong man nuon iyang pension kay nakadawat na kuno siya for more than 5 years. maypa wala nalang unta siya mag update sa gsis.

there are tons of complaints being hurled against GSIS but it fell on deaf ears. nobody can touch winston garcia. kitang mga govt. employee agwanta lang gehapun ta sa bulok nga serbisyo ug sistema sa GSIS.

it seems that gsis is slowly killing the pensioners. these are old and sickly people, most of these pensioners use there pension to buy medicines for there daily maintenance.

I agree. It's unjust. The red tape and corruption in GSIS is a clear manifestation of injustice promoted by an unjust system. It breeds discontent and contempt. It discourages people from working hard in public service. A employee who has devoted almost his or her entire life to serving the government will retire with an unstable pension source? What kind of motivation is that?

Maybe we could all boycott GSIS? If at least half of Cebu's government employees boycotted GSIS (i.e., refuse paying premiums), that would probably cause a big stir and would compel those "deaf" ears to pay attention.

What is Arroyo doing to all these issues about the GSIS?

True. It seems to appear that way. If justice delayed is justice denied, I'd say:

PENSION DELAYED IS PENSION DENIED!

I'm beginning to wonder if there is a tacit policy to deprive our retirees the pension due to them. What's the policy man diay of a pensioner who dies and didn't get to avail of the pension? Asa padulong ang pension? Sa immediate family ba? In full? Or with substantial deductions? I'm not quite familiar with the GSIS policies.

can we do that not pay our contribution sa gsis? murag automatic man dayon na nga 9% of our monthly salary goes to GSIS(Garcia Service Insurance System)
